"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

We had two full bathrooms completely re-done as well as new kitchen counter tops and laminate flooring installed. Emily LaRose, the designer, is the consummate professional designer. She has a firm grasp of design concepts and gave us functional and beautiful designs. She is a skillful communicator, equally strong at explaining choices and listening to and addressing our concerns or preferences. Emily kept the projects on track and made herself available for our questions. Our initial choice for laminate flooring for the kitchen was discontinued by the manufacturer. Emily immediately contacted us, and we met. She presented other recommended choices that would work with our counter top choice and existing cabinetry. We ended up with beautiful flooring and an on-schedule installation. Emily visited our home throughout the projects and always answered our phone calls and emails promptly. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Further, all the other Kitchen and Bath World staff we met were very helpful, and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home. "We came home from vacation to very stormy weather.  We found that our garage wall and top corner of the ceiling where the garage meets the house was WET.  We looked for someone on Angie's List to provide us with an estimate on repairing whatever damage might be up there causing this problem.  Due to three top-notch reviews, we called T&T Construction on a Friday.  David Turner (owner) answered my call and we agreed that he would come out at 10:00 Monday morning to take a look at the roof/siding.  Mr. Turner was punctual and got straight to business taking apart our siding trying to figure out what was causing our problem.  He told me that if for some reason he couldn't find the problem, that he would put everything back the way it was before proceeding.  We did, in fact, have what appeared to be hail damage to our siding and roofing. Mr. Turner gave us several options for how he could proceed with the work and an estimate.  We agreed on the estimate and, much to my surprise, Mr. Turner said he and the one man crew he had with him could get the house repaired by that evening.  My husband inspected the roof and siding upon completion and was satisfied that they had done exactly what they had indicated in their estimate.  Mr. Turner worked neatly during the job and cleaned up his equipment and other scraps VERY well after the job was done.  At the end of his work, he even offered to clean fingerprints left on the new siding during installation.  Upon request, he also attempted to fix a siding problem in the back of our home after the roofing job was completed, but not having any additional siding material, he was unable to correct the problem.  He DID put everything back in place as it was. My husband and I were very pleased with his professionalism and work ethic and would be happy to recommend him and use his services again in the future.
