"I can't remember the gentleman's name who did the work, but he explained everything about the project. He did an amazing job and was respectful not only to me and my property, but also to my neighbors. He cleaned up after and I was happy to have clean, functional, and secure gutters.at a fair price. I would definitely recommend Nickel City Property Maintenance."

"My 70 year old bathtub looks brand new and I am so pleased! Chris and Masum did a fabulous job...they were helpful, courteous and professional. They answered every question I had, and cleaned up my bathroom very well. Munro staff, Joanne and Diane, very friendly and gave me instant quote directly over the phone. "Dan is an experienced tile setter who came highly recommended. I hired him to tile a floor and shower in an apartment bathroom. He went well beyond what I expected to create a level and water tight shower and floor in a older building. The tile work was impeccable and he worked around our schedule. We loved his work so much we kept him on to tile our kitchen backsplash. I highly recommend Dan! You will not be disappointed."

"Extremely pleased with the oak hardwood flooring installed by Holliday Home Flooring LLC . Brandon Holliday and his apprentice Jayden were professional, prompt, courteous, Brandon explained each day what we could expect to be done . The job was well planned out and completed on time . Concerns along the way were fully discussed before progressing . At the end of each day the work site was totally cleaned up and ready for the next morning. Upon completion of the floor install they helped us install felt pads under all furniture and place back in room . Brandon is listed with the BBB, Licensed & Insured. We were very comfortable with the payment setup as well . Percentage down at the start of the job, percentage due half way through the job, and then upon completion balance due . We highly recommend Holliday Home and Flooring ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Your tiles will have a significant visual impact on your bathroom, so you’ll want to make a thoughtful decision. Once you land on the tile material that suits your needs and budget, you can consider the color schemes you want. Consider whether you want something modern, classic, or eye-catching.

Tile floor installation usually takes about 16 hours of active work along with a couple of days of drying time between tile and grout applications.

The amount of time it takes your installer will depend on many factors, including the square footage of the space, the tile material type, and if they need to make intricate tile cuts.

Ceramic tile adheres best with premixed adhesive or mortar. If you’re installing the tile in an area with moisture, such as a bathroom or kitchen, opt for waterproof adhesive, and if you choose mortar, make sure it’s thick because that is the easiest to work with and ensures the tiles will sit flat.

The tile spacing you should use will depend on the tile and where you’re installing it. Choosing the right tile spacers to maintain a consistent gap between your tiles is tricky. Generally, tile spacing shouldn’t be less than 2 millimeters on walls and 3 millimeters on floors because of stress relief requirements. Getting it wrong can result in uneven tiles and early repairs.

Larger tiles can be difficult to install because they’re heavier and bulkier than their smaller counterparts, which makes them harder to haul around and put in place. Plus, if you don’t install the tiles correctly, they could crack or break. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a professional for large-format tile installation.
