"Work was done punctually, safely, swiftly and with our backyard gazebo, shed, fence, etc in mind. All workers were courteous. They were the only company that we didn't have to take apart our fence and use the neighbors yard to enter. The owner Paul was wonderful to work with and always returned text messages. Cost was cheaper than all other companies and still excellent work and customer service. Highly recommend!"

"I received a response and call back immediately. A man of his word! Came by immediately for a quote and set appointment for upcoming project. They were on time and went straight to work. Extremely professional. I would recommend them hands down and would do business with this company in the future. The cost of the project was extremely fair. Absolutely no complaints. They did a wonderful job. I had stumps removed that I paid another company to do years ago. I ended up having to have it done again, but this time it was done correctly. Do not waste your time or money, going else where. You will not be disappointed going with this company."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Most plum trees are pruned into a vase or open wine glass shape. They’ll have a shorter central leader (the trunk) that supports three to four main branches. Of course, this isn't always the case. If you have a European plum tree, you can grow it in a pyramid shape. Let the central leader extend the length of the tree and prune smaller branches to create the pyramid.

Since each tree is different, it’s impossible to say how long a dead tree can remain on your property. While it could be days, months, or even years, it’s highly likely that, at some point, the tree will fall. In the meantime, dying or dead trees can become a haven for pests, so it’s best to have them removed sooner rather than later.

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.

Generally, avoid trimming trees in the summer (with the exception of pruning fruit trees as needed). Trees use a lot of energy in the summer, most of which is relegated to new growth. If you chop it too early, you could stunt the next season's growth. Again, when in doubt, do some research based on the specific tree type.

Some trees will bounce back just fine, and others will struggle and possibly die. Evergreens, for instance, have a very difficult time recovering after droughts and usually die after periods of extreme dryness. Usually, you’ll have to just wait and see—if the drought occurs in wintertime, it’s possible that your tree will recover during the gentler springtime.
