We are not that dirty guy in a van without insurance but a long established, professional, local family run business that puts quality and customers as our top priority. The Ira Hansen family plumbing business has proudly served Northern Nevada since we opened our doors in 1986 and recently won the Associated General Contractors board's "Skill Integrity and Responsibility" award. "They were timely and diagnosed the problem accurately but their charge was excessive without an explanation. I paid $1300. I checked the components at Home Depot and it added up to about $500. So they either jacked up the price of goods or charged $800 for a 2 hour service call. I called several times and left messages but they haven't responded. They gave me no itemized invoice. Also the plumber pushed for a cash/check option otherwise using credit would incur a 6.5% premium. That should have been my warning! Disappointed in poor customer service and value, they have lost my business and I will share with all."
