"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Marketplace Homes has managed two residential rental properties for me, and everything has always been very easy. They coordinate showings, negotiated rent with tenants, and hired contractors as needed at each property. I would use them for any rental property I have in the future!"

We called the plumber because the toliets were stopped up.  When he came out, there was one problem after another.  Apparently the pipes in the bathrooms were cast iron and had completely rusted out.  They had to jackhammer the concrete in both bathrooms to replace the pipes up to where the pipes were good.  They found mold when they remove the tile in the bathrooms, so they had to deal with that.  When installing the overflow valve in the front of the house they found that the sewer pipes were made out of clay and had tree roots in them.  They had to dig a trench from the house out to the sidewalk and replace those sewer lines and cut down one of my trees.  They also replaced the washing machine hookup and some other things.  After it was done, they retiled and repainted the bathrooms.  The job took about a week, which was less time that Alex, the plumber, had estimated.
I would give everything an A or B, except they left rock and clay pipe fragments in my front yard where they dug the trench.  All other debris was cleaned up.  Some of the tile in the half-bath is not quite level and the paint around the base boards is not good.  The prior baseboard was 3" vinyl, which they replaced with standard 1" wood.  That was ok, but they didn't remove the adhesive from the wall where the vinyl baseboard was, so the paint is all lumpy there.  Also, the door on the main bath is not quite right.  It's functional, but it has a little hitch when you open it all the way.
I'm mostly satisfied.  I'm not sure about the price.  I don't know the going rate for this situation. $17,160.00 is a lot of money, but they did a lot of work.  I kind of wish I had asked for a second opinion, just so I'd be sure that it was a fair price, but I don't really feel like I was ripped off.

"Creative Interior Solutions (CIS) recently completed a remodel and casita (pool / guest house) project on our new home / property. They provided excellent service and commitment to completing the job in a timely and professional manner. Skillfully guiding and supporting us through every aspect of the project. CIS’ general manager, Aaron Dockstader, was wonderful to work with! "We've got American Home Shield. So that kinda varies but united air temp has done some work for us. Probably a couple years ago, I think so. I think its two years ago. They did work on our air conditioning. Well you know with American Home Shield you only pay $75.00. You sign up for a year , its like something you subscribe to.  You call and contact American Home Shield and they have somebody contact you whose in line with their services and agrees to work with them. You pay $75.00 and if its not done correctly for each visit but if they come back twice you don't pay again. Its like 400 and something a year. Its fabulous, its fabulous. If you need plumbing , H VAC, lighting, its amazing. Its worth every dime. And if they can't fix it they replace it at no charge unless you want to upgrade There are some different companies but even when we refinanced our house they had us, no we bought another house in Winchester for our son. And they made us have it in with our policy and they use American Home shield. its fabulous and you don't have to do the searching or anything, If you aren't happy you just tell American Home shield. One time United Air Temp tried to talk us into , they did some plumbing work too, and they were going try to talk us into replacing it with a cheap model. That isn't American Home Shield policy its with the same thing or you can pay to upgrade. Pay the balance of an upgrade. We use it all the time. When my son has issues with his house I tell him just call American Home Shield. They guarantee they will be out within 72 hrs but its usually within 24 hours. We contacted them last week about my son's air conditioning. They came out right away, they had to order something. They had to come back out and they did last Wednesday and they fixed it."

"They had to travel 140 miles a day round trip to do the work for us and they were prompt. The were precise and saved us a lot of money on the re-build. All of their subcontractors they used were excellent, as well. After finishing building the house they have stopped in several times to check in on things. They have built over one thousand homes and ton a lot of remodels, as well."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can mudjack cracked concrete, but the cracks will need to be repaired once the concrete has been leveled. If the concrete is severely cracked in multiple places, replacement may be a better option, but for less severe cracking, mudjacking is a good solution as long as cracks are correctly caulked and sealed.

Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. You can check state requirements and then use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that a company is properly licensed to provide mudjacking services in your area.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The exact time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it must fully harden to ensure that added weight from walking, furniture, or vehicles won't shift the concrete slab. A professional contractor can advise you on when the surface is safe to use. For comparison, if you use polyjacking instead, the polyurethane foam can dry in just a few minutes, but it's best to wait about an hour before use.

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.
