"Rock n Block completely rebuilt our business after the discovery of mold and subsequent remediation. Remediation was a months long, grueling process (separate business) but Albert and his team made reconstruction after quick, efficient, and painless. Albert is super knowledgeable about best practices and safety guidelines and his team is fast working and dedicated. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for any other needs."

"all work was completed on schedule. Tree removal and trimming was done quickly, great cleanup and care. The patio paver and new watering installation in the back yard looks fantastic. Alex , Eric , and crew do wonderful work, fast, professional, and answered all our questions, concerns, and made sure we were satisfied. We had several quotes for the two jobs and they were best by far. We will always use them in the future, and they get our highest recommendation."

"I reviewed this companies work earlier and gave them 2.5 stars because the gates, which were subcontracted, were not correctly installed and the paint was so thin it showed the start of rust. After the company President came out and reviewed the work I was told they would not be using that sub and would complete the work correctly by 8/11/20. Today, 8/7/20, the project manager and another gentleman came out, repairing/completing the work to my total satisfaction. Iâ ve always believed that there will likely be items needing touchup or repairs on any large project and the mark of a good company is how they handle the repairs. I was told they â wouldâ complete the work to my satisfaction, which they did. Iâ d give them all fives had the work been done correctly to start with BUT they did honor their commitment to total satisfaction. BOTTOM LINE; Iâ d hire them again and believe this was poor sub work and does not reflect the overall quality of Primetime Construction."

"I am writing to commend the exceptional service provided by Peter and his son during the recent installation of my blinds and roller shades. They were the most professional installation team I have ever experienced. The installation was executed with perfection. Every item was symmetrically placed and installed exactly according to my specifications. My gratitude goes out to them for their high-quality work."

Masonry questions, answered by experts

Limewash can be removed from brick, but the method of removal will depend on how long the limewash has been on the brick. If the limewash has fully dried—which happens after about five days—you’ll need to use a diluted muriatic acid mixture to remove it. If there are multiple coats of limewash, you may need to apply the acid mixture several times to fully remove it from the brick.

Yes, staining a brick home can increase a home’s value, assuming your pro does a good job and you keep up with maintenance tasks. Staining brick is a much better way to increase a home’s value than painting brick, as the latter can cause chipping, warping, and bubbling. Brick stain, on the other hand, gets absorbed by the surface, so it can still breathe.

You can use normal bricks as cladding for a concrete or clay pizza oven or as a base underneath one. Fire bricks or solid clay bricks are necessary for an outdoor pizza oven’s floor, and you can use clay bricks for the rest of the oven.

You can turn a red brick white through a process called whitewashing. Whitewash isn’t a stain but rather is made from water and white latex paint. Adding more water to the mix will make the solution look lighter when applied, and adding more paint will make it look more white.

Yes, brick houses are better insulated, because the bricks slow down the passage of air from the outside to the inside and vice-versa. This helps to stabilize the internal temperature of the home. When combined with proper residential insulation, brick houses are more efficient and better insulated than other types.
