"I tried everything I could to avoid leaving a bad review. I hired them to xeriscape my parkway. They were going to do everything but the plants. When they were finishing up the job, one of the guys said go get your plants and we’ll come back tomorrow and finish that up with the drip. I got the plants and despite multiple attempts to have them come and finish the job and clean up the mess they left they didn’t show up. We tried calling and texting and they still didn’t show up. They also didn’t use the gravel that I selected and by the time I realized, it was too late. Unfortunately, I cant recommend this company."

The premise for painting a brick building is fairly simple: Prime the bricks to seal the surface and apply the top coat to protect your brick home. While you can’t do anything about the weather, you can preserve your bricks by cleaning them with soapy water and a good old-fashioned scrubbing. Pressure washers may be satisfying to use, but they can eventually wear away the surface of your bricks. If you don’t have advanced-level DIY skills in masonry, you can hire a reputable masonry contractor in your area for your project.

In most cases, painting your brick house is a fine idea that can open up new aesthetic possibilities. However, the paint can slightly shorten the life span of brick, especially if moisture gets trapped underneath the paint layer. Once you paint, you’ll have to keep up with maintenance to avoid flaking and blisters.

Stone can last anywhere from 15 to 100 years before it needs to be restored. You should clean your stone flooring or countertops regularly using cleaners designed for stone surfaces. Stay on top of vacuuming to prevent scratches from deteriorating stone faster, deep clean your stone surfaces using a pH-neutral cleaning solution at least once a year, and reseal the stone every one to five years, depending on foot traffic or usage.
