"We have always gotten the best price from them for anything we have needed. If I have something happen in any of our buildings, they are very quick to contact me back to schedule the best time for them to come by and take care of what is needed.   • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

Wool rugs respond well to light steam cleaning. Steam cleaning can help lift the dirt out of a wool rug and eliminate odors. However, because wool rugs are so absorbent, excessive moisture can lead to mold and mildew growth, so you’ll need to be cautious with the amount of steam being used, and avoid steam cleaning more than once a year to protect the rug’s fibers.

Vomit contains organic fluids along with whatever else comes out with it. When left without cleaning, vomit, and its odor can reach deep into carpet fibers and become very difficult to remove without a deep cleaning. In some cases, the combination can cause permanent carpet staining.  

Use a carpet brush or a broom to remove the top layer of loose dirt. For a deeper clean, spray the carpet with a thin layer of three parts water and one part white vinegar. Blot the area with a towel and let it fully dry before sweeping again with the broom.

Steam and vinegar are excellent cleaners, but it’s best not to put vinegar in your steam cleaner unless explicitly approved by the manufacturer. If you don’t dilute the vinegar properly, it can damage the steam cleaner, and using a non-approved cleaning solution in the machine can void the manufacturer’s warranty.
