"This company tells it like it is! No scams or runarounds, honest, sincere and reliable. Quality workmanship at reasonable prices. My floors and countertops look sparkley new again. Would definitely use them again and recommend them highly. Came to my house the same day I called, gave me a quote, and made an appointment for the next day. No hassle, no lies, just a very happy customer. Thank you again for a job well done."

"Chris was great to work with...always on time and very capable. When a problem arose (not his fault...a builder's error) he handled it properly and promptly. The tile installers were very professional and polite as well. The pricing was very fair and I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors."

Small jobs welcome

"They were great at getting rid of the wrinkles and bubbles in my carpet. They were meticulous and knowledgeable. The only problems was the seams. Out of the 3 cuts they made, 1 is perfect, the other two not meshing together. I consider a good professional company is one that would follow-up a week later with a call back and not for me to call them with a complaint."

Stone Countertops questions, answered by experts

Small kitchens benefit from simple, blunt countertop edges, as complicated edges can create visual clutter and be more of a hazard if you bump into them. Eased edges are a top pick for small kitchens because they are simple, do not jut out, and do not take up additional space. Bullnose edge countertops are also popular because of their rounded design; they are elegantly simple and will not be sharp when you bump against them. Single-beveled edges are also a good choice, as they look a little more upscale but still have rounded edges for safety and simplicity.

Different types of engineered stone countertops require varying installation methods. The best option is to hire a countertop installer, especially if you are unfamiliar with the stone you plan to use. Generally speaking, quartz is the easiest for DIYers because you can cut it on site with a diamond blade and diamond hole saw. The average DIYer is unlikely to have the special tools to cut sintered stone countertops. Before diving into a project, make sure you have the experience and tools to do the job correctly.

Beyond landscaping, limestone has multiple uses. For example, there are multiple pros and cons to limestone countertops, such as a lower cost compared to other types of stone and heat resistance. Limestone is also a key ingredient in limewash, a type of paint with a chalky texture. Other uses for limestone include siding, retaining walls, and mixed into cement.

Quartz countertops are known for their durability, but they aren’t indestructible. Quartz countertops can crack under extreme pressure, like when experiencing a heavy impact. The same can happen with regular exposure to high temperatures. Finally, improper installation makes the quartz more vulnerable.

Engineered stone countertops range in price between $60 and $200 per square foot. The three main types are quartz, recycled glass, and sintered stone. The most affordable is sintered stone, which is ideal for outdoor kitchens and costs $60 to $100 per square foot.

Recycled glass countertops fall in the middle at $65 to $140 per square foot and offer a very distinct look. Meanwhile, quartz counters are on the higher end of the price range at $50 to $200 per square foot. Popular quartz options mimic the look of natural stones like marble and granite.
