"Casey the technician, addressed my concerns. Explained what he saw as the problem(s), His knowledge of A/C/heating units is impressive, pricing of services fair, and didn’t try to over sell on any additional services. We highly recommend Cassal Enterprises above and beyond any of our local A/C Installation service businesses. Give them a call first!"

"Called Mike for heater outage, 66⁰F in house in bright sunlight. He was on another job but gave us a time estimate, then revised it to give us an updated arrival. Brought in worn parts to explain what happened, noticed that cooler is missing drain pieces & suggested we call him before using refrigerated AC. Heater is working now, and we are SO GRATEFUL for Mike coming out same-day!"

"T-Stat Heating and Cooling, service provider personnel, were prompt and relatively professional. Not having had need for this type of service from other professionals in this area nor the comparative experience from the service provided thereof, I found it necessary therefore to rate this pro as indicated-three star. The project was started on August 5, 2025 and it was completed on August 8, 2025. Thereafter, an issue arose with the integrity of the cooling operation of the installed unit - most notably the thermostat. Mr. Lopez, of T Stat Heating and Cooling, has addressed the issue and his service people have changed the thermostat - on Monday, August 11, 2025. The service individuals changed the thermostat and monitored its operation - the cooling issue was not resolved. They indicated that they would return on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The temperatures in this area have been in the 100s. In context of this relevant experience it is not just to make a true accessment. Thank you"

"Raul from Total Air came on an emergency call early this morning. He made and installed a cap on the roof vent for our new tankless water heater. He also adjusted all of the new vents for our recent HVAC installation to improve balance in air flow. He is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything that he did. Great professional, skilled workmanship. Thank you!!!ð ¤ ð ¤"

"Absolutely awesome! Repair service offered to arrive within one hour, I was unable to make that because I did not expect such quick service. AC back on same day with a temporary thermostat, full replacement with new thermostat, project completed the very next day. I am very pleased and impressed that things were taken care so quickly and professionally."

Install Central Vacuum questions, answered by experts

For the average-size house, a central vacuum installation usually takes one day of work by a team of professionals. Large houses may take two or more days. But if you are planning on a DIY project, it’s likely to take much longer. We suggest getting a few estimates for a project this big and fully understanding all the requirements before you make a decision about installation. Certain parts of your house may not be usable during the installation, and you may want to make other plans.

Experienced professionals don’t usually need to take down drywall to install the central vacuum. They are experienced in working in the tight spaces between walls and in crawl spaces to minimize any damage. The only drywall changes should be the holes cut for the new outlets. However, home design, existing plumbing, and other factors may require some modification. An estimate from a professional contractor should include information if any changes need to be made.

Yes, installing a central vacuum system typically adds value to your home. The ease of use, longevity, and superior suction power of a central vacuum system can add up to $2,000 to your home’s value if you decide to sell. Potential buyers may consider the central vacuum a perk to purchasing your home.

Whether talking about a whole-house central vacuum or a portable vacuum cleaner, the expected cost of major repair work should always be balanced against its replacement cost. However, excluding high-cost motor replacements or major electrical trouble, repairs on a central vacuum system are typically far less than the cost of purchasing and installing a new one.

The disadvantages associated with central vacuums start with cost. They are expensive to install, especially in existing homes, as retrofitting requires opening walls. The system's bulky hoses can also be inconvenient to maneuver and store compared to portable vacuums. Additionally, repairs may need professional service, adding to maintenance costs. Lastly, while powerful, they may be overkill for smaller homes or apartments, making the investment less practical for some households.
