"Went GREAT! I got quotes from 3 different companies. Out of the 3 quotes I received Mike & Martins Asphalt & Paving was more professional, punctual and cost effective than the other 2. Another thing they did that stood out from the rest was the time they took to educate me on the whole process. Never having asphalt done before I had no idea what to expect. After meeting with Mike I felt very informed and comfortable moving forward with the project. The job is complete now and looks great! Mike called me a couple days after the project was done just to thank me one more time for my business. I don't usually take time to write reviews but these guys made a great impression. "The work went great. This was the most positive experience I have ever had with a contractor. The quality of MountainSide's work and customer service was outstanding. When MountainSide evaluated my project, they took the time to listen to my concerns, discussed different options for completing the work, and gave me a detailed, written estimate. Unlike the other contractors that gave me estimates, they advised me upfront that part of the work required a city permit - I checked and they were right - and took on the responsibility for getting the permit and complying with all pertinent city ordinances regarding the work. Their work crews showed up on time and did a great job. They were polite and efficient and they took the time to explain what they were doing and why. More importantly, the quality of their work was outstanding and they cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day. Finally, MountainSide's customer service was outstanding. They kept me up-to-date on the status of the city permit, worked with me to schedule the most convenient date for the work, and followed through with me on every step of the project, including the removal of the cones and barricades after the concrete had hardened. I have hired several contractors through the years, and although I have been generally pleased with the work, the quality, efficiency, and level of customer service provided by MountainSide Contractors was absolutely outstanding.
