"Javier and his team were great. He came out and gave me a estimate, I had a lot of questions and concerns about what was best and he answered all of them told me the difference and even gave me samples to make sure I was going to love it. His team was great from start finish every single worker was on time and was polite. They moved my furniture and returned it where I wanted it with no problems and they handled my stuff delicately and not a lot of people do which I liked. Everyday before the they Javier would make sure I?m under the process he is going through and reminding to trust the process and I?m so glad I did.! I?m so happy with my floors it?s everything I was looking for and so much more.! Needless to say he?s going to be starting my new deck in a couple weeks .! Highly recommend.!!"

"We needed someone to install tile around the bathtub at an apartment unit we own. Joey at 2 Daughters Handyman came to the rescue. He quoted us a fair price based on what we could see. However, once he started the work other complications were discovered such as mold behind the existing wall. Joey and his crew were able to take care of each issue and charged us a fair amount for the extra work performed. We were very impressed with his willingness to get the job done in a timely manner. He even went to two or three places on his own to find the tile we wanted. We will definitely use 2 Daughters again and would recommend them to anyone needing his services.

"The guys scraped and repaired all of the parapets around the roof edge, they removed and replaced an entire exterior wall surface, and fixed many cracks and chips all around the house. The stucco had weathered over the years and naturally started to crack and peel off. They did a wonderful job and for a very reasonable cost with 50% down for materials then 50% at job completion."

You can only clean soft woods like pine with a wide spray and a low pressure; otherwise, the water will leave unpleasant marks on your deck. Giving the sealant at least two full days to cure ensures it can fully penetrate the wood, giving you the most protection from sun and weather damage later on. Before installing any materials under the deck for removing moisture, you should perform some prep work on the ground. Work the dirt under the deck to create a grade away from the home. A grade of at least six inches for every 10 feet works well. Do not leave a gap between the dirt and the home’s foundation where water could pool. Once you or a contractor regrades the dirt under the deck, you then can add materials over the top.

Cutting the boards directly is one of the fastest ways to remove deck boards with hidden fasteners. Mark two parallel lines that are one-third of the total measurement on both ends and cut out the centerpiece. Then, remove the end of the board that doesn’t have a fastener. Finally, pry open the fastened side and pull it up to pop out the screw or access the fastener. This also allows you to salvage portions of boards for other projects.
