"We really like Phillip! We met him years ago when he was the project manager for a new roof, kitchen and bath remodel, porch extension and exterior painting of stucco and trim. He made our home look really nice at an affordable price and made us happy. We were Phillip’s first customers when he started his own company. Basically the same size project on our casita. The casita had been vacant, unfinished and open to the elements for six plus years so we had a few surprises. We are very pleased with the final results. The only reason we can’t give Phillip fire stars is because it really took much longer than expected. Some of this of course was the unexpected surprises due to previous work. However there were times we felt the project wasn’t going forward fast enough. His subs are all very trustworthy and conscientious, we liked them all! Phillip’s customer service is professional, personal and honest. "

"For the initial consultation Mr. Varela arrived on time. He took time to listen to the whole story about my roof and the failed attempts to fix a leak I had going directly into my kitchen. The main priority was established to fix the leak in the roof before anymore damage was done. Later the metal roof was installed and I am very pleased with my new roof! Mr. Varela and his crew are all very professional and very courteous. The workers always asked permission to access areas where this was a gate and when finished you couldn't find a scrap anywhere. No detail was ignored as far as dealing with everything on the roof such as antennas and my swamp cooler. Very well done! Thank you so much Fort Selden Roofing! He checked walls for moisture and other indications of possible mold. Although he did not think there was mold based on his examination, I opted for air samples to make sure. The initial evaluation was free - cost was for the air samples and analysis. Analysis of the samples in the lab showed that there was not a mold problem. Shawn helped me troubleshoot for other possible sources of the problem."

First year we discovered the water heater was improperly ventilated and would not function and had to be replaced. Improperly sealed tile. Leaking sink. Crumbling concrete steps. Most problematic has been the multiple roof leaks every year for seven years. Two bedrooms and one bathroom have had roof leaks. Stucco has pulled away from the exterior windows causing additional leaks. All within the first 7 years of construction. "
