"Delivery was delayed due to credit inquiry. After the concern was raised, shipment was rushed to us. Self installation didn't go as easy. Issue was resolved over the phone. The glass break sensor was a bit sensitive to loud noise such as cabinet door closing and door sensor repeatedly falls off and had to be reattached. Notification of alarm activation was fast and made to the right contact numbers. This prevented false alarm calls to the police."

"They replaced 11 windows, a patio door and re stuccoed 3 sides of my house.  I was impressed when they came out, they showed me the windows and what they would do and how they would look and work, Since there was brick in the front those had to be inserted differently then the other ones. When they came out  to measured they measure the top, bottom and middle to make sure they would get the right size and the windows look very well,  they work very well and the stucco is great. It was just a wonderful job."

"The oven door, the glass was broken it was an easy fix. They were very good. I would like a receipt after the services are over. I said did I offend you. If I did I apologize, when I spoke to American Home Shield they said it would be no problem."

"We needed someone to install tile around the bathtub at an apartment unit we own. Joey at 2 Daughters Handyman came to the rescue. He quoted us a fair price based on what we could see. However, once he started the work other complications were discovered such as mold behind the existing wall. Joey and his crew were able to take care of each issue and charged us a fair amount for the extra work performed. We were very impressed with his willingness to get the job done in a timely manner. He even went to two or three places on his own to find the tile we wanted. We will definitely use 2 Daughters again and would recommend them to anyone needing his services.

"Painting was flawlessly executed. There was a seamless transition from wall to ceiling, almost to calculated precision. Not to mention the team was personable and extremely professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to a business partner or personal friend."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

When hiring professionals for glass and mirror service, watch out for contractors who skip physical inspections or ignore mandatory local building permits. Avoid quotes lacking specific glass types, as NM energy codes demand exact specifications. Question unusually fast turnaround times for custom glass, since specialty materials require shipping from outside the region. Always demand a written warranty to protect your investment from extreme weather damage.

Helpful?

Your home’s architecture dictates the complexity of glass and mirror service. Older homes in Roswell featuring adobe block or stucco construction lack standard rough-opening dimensions, making glass replacement highly complex. Flat rooflines with high clerestory windows require specialized equipment for safe access. Furthermore, homes facing the prevailing southwestern winds demand higher-rated glazing to withstand exposure, which requires custom ordering and extends your project timeline.

Helpful?

When planning glass and mirror service, you will encounter hidden expenses from structural surprises. Roswell’s intense UV rays warp older window frames, requiring full replacements instead of simple glass swaps. You will also face freight surcharges for custom glass, as these materials arrive from outside the city. Additionally, local building permits are mandatory for structural glazing, and failing to secure them causes costly project delays.

Helpful?

Completing glass and mirror service provides immediate relief from the intense NM sun by reducing solar heat gain and blocking UV rays that fade furniture. Properly sealed windows also block fine desert dust and protect your home during spring windstorms. Over time, high-quality insulated glass reduces wear on your HVAC system and preserves your window frames from moisture damage during the summer monsoon season.

Helpful?

Proper maintenance for glass and mirror service involves frequent, careful cleaning. Always use moisture to wipe away abrasive caliche dust deposited by Roswell windstorms, as dry wiping scratches the surface. Inspect your exterior window seals annually to catch degradation caused by extreme high desert temperature swings. For indoor spaces, check bathroom mirrors for edge deterioration, as the low humidity environment dries out the silver backing over time.
