"Not good. We had just replaced an element and they told us it was the wrong one and took the element but we had just put on and was going to bring back the proper one as well as the one that they had taken off they brought back a different one never brought back the new one that they had taken off but I had already replaced and two days later the furnace quit blowing hot air againI was told it would be more than a week before somebody could get out there and I had a newborn baby that was born less than a week earlier.. needless to say we ended up calling another company and the element was not the problem it's just that they were dirty posts on one of the firing pins it took a minute half with steel wool to clean it off and my furnace works works great ever since.

we won't be using them again for our heating needs

"Medicore. This is the second deal of this kind I've tried (x hours for Y $). It's not such a great deal and this contractor was not ideal. The worker who was sent to complete the deal was very polite, but poorly prepared and without a drop cloth or a ladder. Wish I had insisted on putting down some protection on the floor, because I had to clean up stains in the carpet afterwards. I was satisfied with the 30 minutes of work he performed. A unskilled helper accompanied him. Because there were two workers, I was told I would get my four hours in just two hours. After 30 minutes of work and 30 minutes waiting for mud to dry,  the worker suggested they return to do some texture work. This was fine with me, but then he misrepresented (to his boss) the amount of time he and his companion had been here working. The contractor offered to do the texturing, but suggested I had just about used up the 4 hours of the deal. At that point point I decided to call it quits. I cannot recommend this kind of deal, unless you're certain you have 4 hours of work. Even then, it is sometimes a little challenge to get your value out of the deal. Obviously, contractors are looking to get into your house and quickly engage you in further work. The deal may be a good way to "preview" contractors. I can't recommend this one.

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

A saturated leach field can result from various underlying issues, so it's best to call a professional septic company to diagnose and treat the problem. Depending on the cause of the saturation, potential fixes include pumping out a full septic tank, adding more bacteria to the tank, or regrading the soil to fix low spots. It may also be necessary to reroute rainwater and runoff away from the leach field using gutters, downspouts, and extenders. Once the primary issue is resolved, planting specific types of vegetation over the area can help absorb excess water. In more severe cases, you might need to install a larger septic tank or replace the leach field entirely.

There are several signs that can indicate your leach lines are broken, failing, or in need of repair, including puddles of water or a marshy consistency to the ground above or around the pipes, slow drainage or plumbing backups inside your home, and noticeable odors or gurgling sounds coming from your leach field. Keeping your septic system properly maintained, including having your septic tank pumped at regular intervals, can help ensure your leach lines stay in good working order for a long time.

You can often unclog a garbage disposal in less than 10 minutes, though sometimes you might need longer if you’re unsure what’s causing the clog. For minor clogs, consider plunging the drain, flushing the drain with baking soda and vinegar, or using an Allen wrench to free the clog. If the clog is more severe, contact a local plumber.

Yes, drains are one common entry point for water bugs. However, water bugs may enter your home through various locations including doors, windows, pipes, and vents. Water bugs are drawn to the dark and moist atmosphere drains provide, and can easily find their way into your home through sewer drain pipes. You can stop water bugs from entering through drains by regularly cleaning your drains and repairing faulty drainage systems.

If you're dealing with a clogged sink drain, you may be able to avoid removing the drain by using a plunger to dislodge the clog. While we associate plungers with toilets, they can do the same job with your sink drain. Be gentle, though, as forceful movements can push clogs further into your plumbing system and make them more difficult to remove. Additionally, make sure you’re using a sink plunger—with a flat bottom—and not a toilet plunger—which has a smaller bottom protruding from the larger flat piece.
