"We had Country Decks do a few different projects and everything went great. He did the smaller stuff first, remove a ceiling fan and install a light, replaced 2 doors, move electrical outlets, patch and paint the walls, install shelves. We had no issues, he gave us great ideas, and was very flexible. The jobs were done as quoted and on time. We then had him remove 2 adobe patio coverings and install a pergola at the front door and install a deck in the back yard. He again gave us great ideas and designed 2 great additions to our home. He kept us appraised throughout the process and gave us accurate information regarding cost and timelines. All of the work was completed as quoted and on schedule. We are very pleased with all of the work he did for us. "
"Edgar Gallard was fabulous!! We wanted a bathroom remodel including tear out bathtub and build new shower. Edgar handled the whole project and did a great job. I picked out marble tile that was large 12 x 24 inch and needed a wall that was straight and at 90 degrees, of which Edgar had to build and did a great job. We had small problems along the way and Edgar always helped with the solutions and let us know about the options. Very great outcome and we are very happy!!"
"Mariano was very professional and did an excellent job. He was hired for the concrete slab for the foundation for our home and we asked him to return to do the drywall on a separate building we built. Both projects turned out excellent and we plan on using this company for any future projects."

"The section was replaced well, but the texture doesn't match the surrounding wall very well. I think it may look better if I sand it and repaint, but I think they should have done a better job."

It's safe to assume that all exterior walls are load-bearing, or at least have load-bearing characteristics. Some older homes feature porches or bump-outs that don't rest on the home's foundation. However, they still must carry the weight of the roof section they support. Walls containing floor-to-ceiling glass or other non-structural elements must use post and beam configurations to meet load-bearing criteria.
Costs depend on material type, labor rates, and additional features like decorative finishes or reinforcement.
Do some research before hiring a concrete contractor . Consider asking whether the contractor is insured, if they can provide references of past clients you can contact, and if this type of work requires a permit. Another potential question is how long they guarantee their work.
Yes, you can pour the footings for your foundation and the foundation system itself together, in which case the footing acts as the foundation. Some common examples of foundations where you might pour the footings simultaneously include floating slab foundations and monolithic slab foundations. Both lack traditional footings underneath the slab, so these foundation types are considered footings.
