"The owner of the company came to my house for a pre-inspection of the project late on a Friday afternoon, laid out a plan of work that we agreed upon, and provided a written estimate by early the next day (Saturday). On the day of the work, the work crew of one person (Jorge) met the company owner (Alvaro) at my house on the first day and got an overview of the work to be done. When the company owner left, Jorge went straight to work trenching around the house to get to the lowest level of the damaged stucco. Then he removed all the damaged stucco, prepared new stucco, and placed it on the house, and finished the surface to match the surrounding stucco pattern. The next day he returned to color match the surface to the surrounding areas, and did a wonderful job of that! He was professional, friendly, and worked with me through our language barrier (he speaks enough English and I speak enough Spanish that we were able to communicate well) to a successful conclusion of the job. He cleaned up the work area better than any contractor I have worked with to this date. At the end of the project (2nd day), Alvaro came by to inspect and insure the work was done to his satisfaction (it was), presented the bill (exactly the amount of the estimate), and left a well satisfied homeowner. I heartily recommend this company to anyone.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

Seal joints, clean debris regularly, and address cracks promptly to maintain appearance and stability.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.
