"Eventually he had to reinstall my operating system, because certain system files had apparently been corrupted. He save all my data files and reinstalled them, but I had to reinstall my software. While this was slow and painful, it gave me a fresh start and a clean system to begin from. I have since reinstalled software as I needed it and reduced the total substantially. With the amount of work he had to put in, this turned out to be a bargain for me. My computer has worked very well ever since.

"Sales process was good, courteous and helpful. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Did have a small issue with one sensor which was easily solved with a call. Control panel is easy to use and well constructed. Phone app is the best part. Not a big fan of a 2 year contract and the monthly rate feels a little high, but definitely a decent system. I had emailed them a question pertaining installing on double hung windows and never received a reply, but other than that their phone support prior to that was good."

"I called the day on Thursday, got a few details and asked if they could detail my car on Friday.  We set up an appointment at 2pm at my house.  (Cool, points for availability).  I had some errands to do on Friday but thought I could do them and make the 2pm.  At 1:50pm I got a call from them saying that I was late for my 1:30pm appointment.  I explained that the appointment was for 2pm and that I would be there in 5 minutes.  I arrived at 1:55pm and they started detailing my car.
I went in the house to wait.  I checked on them a couple of times and it seemed that they had teams of people that specialized in different things because I saw different faces each time.  After 2 hours, they rang my door bell to let me know that they were done.  I examined the car and my first impression was that it looked like it had just been driven off the car lot.  Looked great.
When I looked a little closer I found a few issues.  First, the front window was badly streaked.  I mentioned it and they immediately started working on it.  I then noticed that the head lamps had not been cleaned.  They said that they would work on it but to really do it right I would need to purchase an additional package where they buffed the head lamps clean.  I thought that I was paying a premium for the detailing service and expected this to be a part of the package but apparently not.  (Negative points).
I paid them the money, signed some paperwork and prepared to drive my car into the garage.  I then noticed that I was missing my foot mats.  Luckily, they were still in the driveway and I asked them about them.  The guy said that they had put them aside so that they could dry and had forgot to put them back.  He said that they were still wet and suggested that I leave them out so that I didn't develop mold in my car.  He then got in the van and left.  I examined the foot mats and immediately realized that they weren't wet.  In fact, they were dusty and had never been cleaned.  Disappointing!
So, overall I was happy with how the car turned out.  The car looks great.  I have never had my car detailed before so I am not sure about my level of expectation.  I did ask around and a few friends mentioned $200 for detailing.  I had one friend that had a groupon for an $80 detailing.  For the price I paid, I expected very minor issues.  I didn't like that the guy lied to me about the foot mats and the head lamp cleaning should have been part of the service. Otherwise, I am happy with the service.  The next time I detail my car, I will try a different detailer just to see if this is par for the course or that I should have demanded more.

"They replaced 11 windows, a patio door and re stuccoed 3 sides of my house.  I was impressed when they came out, they showed me the windows and what they would do and how they would look and work, Since there was brick in the front those had to be inserted differently then the other ones. When they came out  to measured they measure the top, bottom and middle to make sure they would get the right size and the windows look very well,  they work very well and the stucco is great. It was just a wonderful job."

Windows questions, answered by experts

In Las Vegas, you’ll find window service contractors specializing in residential installations, commercial glazing, and historic property restoration—important for older neighborhoods. Some focus on energy efficiency upgrades tailored to the local climate, while others handle glass repair, replacement, or custom window fabrication. Local handyman services and regional companies also offer window installation, often with expertise in addressing the area’s unique weather challenges.

Helpful?

In Las Vegas, signs that window service may need to be redone include persistent drafts, higher energy bills, or condensation between panes. Windows that stick, won’t close, or show visible gaps are also red flags. Look for cracked seals, warped frames, or faded finishes—especially after windstorms. If your windows are over 15 years old, consider replacement to improve comfort and energy efficiency.

Helpful?

Las Vegas’s high desert climate—with intense sun, temperature swings, and low humidity—means window service projects must prioritize UV-resistant coatings and materials that prevent heat transfer. Dry air can shorten the lifespan of seals, while strong winds may loosen frames. Scheduling window installation during spring or fall helps avoid extreme temperatures and ensures adhesives and sealants cure properly for long-lasting results.

Helpful?

For a smooth window service project in Las Vegas, plan work for spring or fall to avoid weather extremes. Check if your property is in a historic district, as special permits may be needed. Choose contractors familiar with high desert conditions, and request local references. Prepare the site by minimizing dust exposure, select windows rated for thermal performance, and allow extra time for material delivery in remote areas.

Helpful?

In Las Vegas, regular window maintenance is crucial due to frequent dust storms and strong sunlight. Clean window tracks and glass often to prevent grit buildup, and inspect seals and weatherstripping yearly for signs of drying or cracking. Lubricate hinges and locks to combat dust-related sticking, and check for UV damage or fading, especially on south-facing windows exposed to the harshest sun.
