"Cody is helping us determine if we have a water leak in the foundation piping. Were getting moisture under our laminate flooring that is causing it to buckle. Cody was honest in recommending a technical diagnosis from another plumbing company before beginning work. He wanted to make sure a leak was confirmed. We appreciate his thorough diagnosis before beginning any work. Thanks, Cody!"

"The service went very well.  I called and asked if a plumber could come and change our expansion tank off of our hot water heater and was told that the plumber would be there between 1 and 3.  About 15 minutes before 1, the plumber called and asked if he could come by.
The service at the house went well and he used buckets and towels to make sure he didn't spill water everywhere.  The water that did drip on our garage floor was cleaned up before he left.
They accept credit cards and are very professional, I'd use them again!

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Test the water in older Grants homes for lead solder before starting renovations to protect your family. Install anti-scald devices on showers and set your water heater to a maximum of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Locate your main water meter shutoff valve so you can respond quickly to sudden pipe bursts during winter freezes. Contain work areas to prevent hazardous dust from spreading during plumbing updates.

Helpful?

Water heaters experience rapid sediment buildup and accelerated wear due to the hard water and high-altitude climate in NM. Evaporative cooler supply lines and saddle valves suffer from corrosion after seasonal winterization cycles. You will also encounter freeze damage on standard outdoor hose bibs. Upgrading pressure reducing valves and replacing toilet internals on a set schedule keeps your plumbing running smoothly.

Helpful?

Changes to your supply lines or main shutoffs directly impact evaporative coolers, which rely on consistent water pressure. If your Grants home uses a septic system, adding new fixtures increases wastewater volume and stresses undersized setups. Work on underground drain lines impacts slab foundations, requiring careful structural checks. Always verify utility connections before starting plumbing projects to protect your entire home.

Helpful?

The naturally high mineral content in Grants groundwater accelerates scale buildup, making proper water heater maintenance and system flushing essential for longevity. Extreme temperature swings and frequent freeze-thaw cycles cause significant thermal expansion, requiring durable pipe materials and secure joints. Passing rough-in inspections guarantees proper slope and venting, ensuring your plumbing remains fully functional and resilient against harsh high-desert conditions over time.

Helpful?

Drain lines embedded in slab foundations require exact sloping during rough-in, as errors become impossible to fix without breaking concrete. In NM, water heaters demand proper seismic strapping and careful installation to withstand high mineral content. You must also insulate exposed pipes in exterior walls and attics to prevent severe freeze damage during harsh winter temperatures. Avoid shortcuts to ensure safe, functional plumbing.
