"Jacob replaced a storm-damaged roof for us. He was very professional from the beginning. From the inspection and estimate to the finished project, he kept us informed each step of the way. He and his crew did an excellent job, were always on time, and made sure to clean up when finished. We definitely recommend."

"We recently had our backyard landscaping project completed, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, Art and his team were professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail. They completed the entire project in a timely manner and kept us informed throughout the process. Their workmanship was outstanding, and they took great pride in delivering a high-quality finished product. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean and organized work area every day. If you're looking for a reliable and professional landscaping company that delivers excellent results, I highly recommend KASA. Our backyard turned out even better than we imagined, and we are extremely satisfied with their work."

"I have used Gonzales Landscaing twice for concrete work and have been very pleased both times. Their concrete crew is top notch, very expierenced, and hard working even in triple digit temperature. Andres, the owner, responded immediately with a detailed estimate, and had his crew at my house within two days after bid was accepted. They worked hard to complete the job quickly, and were well supervised by Andres. They are capable of performing a variety of landscaping work including rock walls. I highly recommend them. I think you will be well satisfied."

Concrete Finishing questions, answered by experts

The cost to install stamped concrete averages about $12 per square foot, with a typical range of $8 to $28 per square foot. For example, a 12-by-12-foot patio costs around $1,730 on average. The final price depends on many factors, including the project's total square footage, the intricacy of the design, concrete thickness and grade, and local labor rates. Other variables that can influence the cost are site accessibility, the need for land preparation or grading, and whether you choose to add staining or sealing. More complex designs with curves, steps, or walls will increase labor and material costs. You can save money by pouring and stamping the concrete yourself. Keep in mind that resealing stamped concrete costs an average of $1.50 per square foot, plus labor.

Yes, you can seal old or existing concrete, but proper preparation is crucial. The concrete surface must be clean, dry, and free of any incompatible old sealant. To check if an old sealer is present, drip a few drops of water onto the surface; if the water is absorbed in under five minutes, it's ready to be resealed. If you plan to use the same type of sealer that was previously applied, you may not need to remove the old layer. However, if you are using a different type of sealer, the old one must be completely removed. Before applying the new sealer, thoroughly clean the concrete and repair or fill any cracks to ensure a smooth, well-prepared surface.

Epoxy paint is a popular option for concrete due to its durability and stain resistance. You can also use masonry paint, which adheres well to concrete. Acrylic paints are more affordable but not as durable. Concrete stain is another option, which is more durable than paint and won’t peel over time.

You can put pavers over concrete following a similar procedure as above, but there are a few additional risks you need to be aware of—like stability, drainage, and the patio’s thickness. Once you lay a paver patio over concrete, it will be nearly impossible to treat any issues that your concrete may face, like cracks or water pooling. So while you may save some time and money on concrete removal and site prep, it may cost you more in the long run.

A concrete seal can protect your garage floor from water and stains as can an epoxy coating. The main difference is that epoxy is much more durable and better for heavy-duty wear and tear—it’s used in more industrial and commercial settings. If you’re just using the garage as storage for tools and your car, concrete sealer will do just fine. But if your garage doubles as a workshop for side projects and auto repair, epoxy will hold up better.
