"D&R did a tremendous job of repairing my cracked and buckled drywall.  The quality of work was amazing and even brought his team out during the service to evaluate other work at my residence.  Their team was extremely professional, produced high quality results, and was extremely well priced.  This was by far my best experience on Angie's List and I highly recommend D&R to anyone who needs work done.

"Humberto and his son, Abraham, are amazing. Very honest, hard working and they are involved in every aspect of the job. They built a large retaining wall for us as well as a split rail cedar fence. They are professional, fair priced, and show a unusual and welcomed level of integrity! The wall and fence are extremely well made and they did all that they said they would do. It takes recycled asphalt 48 hours to initially harden and up to 3 months to fully cure. It’s best to stay off of recycled asphalt for at least 48 hours, then you can walk or drive standard vehicles on it. Hold off on driving heavy trucks or equipment on it for at least 7 days. Allowing the surface to melt together and harden ensures that the surface stays durable and long-lasting. 

The recommended minimum amount for a paver base is 4 inches. From there, it depends on the kind of traffic the pavers will see and the current soil conditions. Two inches of paver base won’t create the amount of stability and support that pavers need to remain securely in place over time.

Maintaining a driveway depends on its material. For concrete and asphalt, it's best to clean the surface thoroughly twice a year with a stiff broom and a pressure washer to remove accumulated dirt and debris. Sealing the driveway is crucial to protect it from water damage and freeze-thaw cycles. Before applying a sealant, pressure wash the surface to remove any loose sealant, dirt, or stains, as sealing over them will trap them. Any cracks or expansion joints should be filled with a flexible polyurethane caulk or asphalt sealer. In colder climates, use sand instead of salt for de-icing. Sand helps melt snow and ice without accelerating the freeze-thaw process, which can cause cracks.

A security gate like a swing gate, double swing gate, bi-folding gate, vertical gate, or pivot gate could work just as well as your driveway gate—if not better for your home depending on which qualities you’re after.
