I took my mother's 1990 Buick to another mechanic because the headlights kept going off at night. After 3 months, the car still wasn't fixed. I took it to Under Car Auto. He took off the floor panel next to the brake and found an electrical pin was bent. He straightened that out. That solved the problem. He saved me a lot of money. When I took my Hyundai in for an oil change, he told me that the front struts and rear shocks were leaking oil. He wanted to fix them. I told him I wanted to wait. I looked at my paperwork when I got home and saw that I had these parts replaced by Pep Boys 10 months before. The parts were still under warranty. So Pep Boys had to fix it. The guy at Under Car Auto was truthful with me and he could have charged me for more work, but he didn't. I am going to use Under Car again for oil changes on my older cars.

I have no intention of hiring anyone else. When they installed the water heater, Chris was forthright and honest about the type of water heater I would need for the house. I had wanted a 50 gallon tank and the bottom line is that a 50 gallon would not have fit without a lot of extra effort. And the 40 gallon worked perfectly! I believe Warren was the one who installed it. He showed up on time and was very fast to drain and remove the old water heater (which was overdue to be replaced), then install the new one. He also cleaned up the area, so you would have never known that someone had just replaced the water heater. The radiant heating was a fun time. When we bought this house, I wish I had known that Williams Mechanical did radiant heating, because we got some plumber to replace some of the telestats before we closed on the house. So when we moved in and tried the radiant heating on a somewhat cold day, every zone except the main area worked. We attempted to call the original plumber, but their voice mailbox was full and tracking down their phone number took more Google searching than necessary. I gave up and called Williams Mechanical who informed me that they do indeed work on radiant heating. Josh was the first to come out (on a Tuesday) and he was able to figure out that some wires had gotten crossed when the new telestats were installed. Now they were being pressurized! Unfortunately, 4 hours later, I was sad to discover that my floors in the main area of the house were not heating. I called them back a couple days later and they sent out Warren out the same day. Poor Warren spent a couple hours checking and triple checking wires and the furnace but couldn't identify the problem. Chris called later that afternoon and offered to come by and take a look, but I was headed out of town, so I couldn't take him up on his offer. So I made an appointment for him to come back out on October 22nd (if I recall correctly). Chris showed up at the scheduled time and double checked everything, but after maybe 30 minutes, he identified that the thermostat had burned out. His guess is that it happened when the wires were crossed during the installation. After asking some questions about thermostats for radiant heating systems, he recommended that I could save a little bit of money by going to a hardware store and picking one up, as the thermostats he had available were a little overkill. He offered to come back and install the thermostat if I preferred, but otherwise I could install it myself. I have replaced thermostats before, so I didn't want to drag anyone back out for something I was perfectly capable of doing, but I was very appreciative of the offer! Wonderful company and people! I always find it a pleasure to hire them. Which I will, when I save up the money to replace the swamp cooler in this house with AC. We were given a verbal quote by the salesman at the time that the electric heating strips were approximately $600.00 a piece. We have had several visits from Wagner Mechanical for repairs and maintenance since our purchase in 2006. On our most recent maintenance check, 3/29/10, their serviceman recommended that we have electric heating strips installed. We were unaware, until that point, that this equipment had not been installed. We are unfamiliar with the technical aspects of these heating/cooling units and cannot identify these parts within the units, and hence, their omission. Several follow-up phone calls were made following this discovery. \"Manuel\" served as the spokesman for the manager. The response I first received was why I was bringing this problem up now, four years after installation. I was then told that the company changed owners and therefore were not responsible. Their service representative visited our house on 4/15/10 and confirmed that the heating strips were not installed. I was then informed that we do not have the necessary amperage required to have these electric heating strips installed and criticized the previous installation efforts. He claimed that the amperage needed were 70 amps per unit and that we only had 50 amps available per unit. I find this claim dubious since the electrical wiring originally was performed by an electrician recommended by Wagner Mechanical. I was offered $100.00 to avoid further incident. I informed the service representative that the list price for a Carrier OEM Heat Strip Kit 20 k.w. 239 volts single-phase unit is $344. This does not include the installation costs. No further dialogue has taken place since that discussion. I was never contacted by their manager. This company has exhibited poor customer service as well as no interest in correcting their errors."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nm/albuquerque/wagner-mechanical-reviews-303184.htm"},"position":10}]}

"Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable and thoroughly detailed. Scheduling was very easy for the initial visit. I was given full details on what the problem was, how it had to be fixed, timeline for receiving needed parts as well as tips for maintenance on the system. When the parts came in, I was notified and repairs were scheduled immediately. When there turned out to be an unexpected issue with the wiring, the owner came out the same day to sure that the replacement was up and running the same day. I would definitely recommend Fix Right LLC to anyone who needs help with their air conditioner or heater systems. They go above and beyond."

"If I could give this company a 0 I would. I had hired them to install a new air conditioner based off a recommendation of a family member. The installation went smoothly. However, a few months later, I discovered a broken pump that caused water damage to my flooring. The company came out and fixed the pump and stated they would fix the flooring. 9 months later and two denied insurance company claims later I discovered the company had a lapse in insurance. Chris, the owner for whatever reason has not made any effort to remedy the situation and has not made ANY effort to remedy the damage. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, would not recommend."

FAQs for heating oil service projects in Cochiti Lake, NM
To buy heating oil for your house, contact local heating oil companies to compare prices and place an order once you decide on a supplier. The company will have to deliver your heating oil in a truck designed to carry and dispense heating oil safely. Call and order your heating oil early enough to have your oil delivered before you need to start using it for home heating.
On average, you’ll need about two gallons of oil per day to heat your house when it’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Most oil tank capacity is about 275 gallons, and heating your house with two gallons of oil per day will last about four and a half months. This consumption will vary depending on the climate and average temperature in your location. For example, if the winters are longer and colder where you live, you’ll probably need to refill your oil tank at least once to get through the winter.
You save money on heating oil in a few ways:
Make sure your home is well insulated and sealed against drafts and heat leakage.
Use a thermostat that’s working properly and calibrated accurately.
Program your thermostat to lower the heat when you’re not home.
Order heating oil during the off-season when prices are likely to be lower.
Summer months tend to be when heating oil prices are lowest because of decreased demand. Buying heating oil during the off-season also prepares you for when the weather gets cold, and you need to start using the oil to heat your home. Although heating oil prices will fluctuate, it’s best to avoid purchasing between September and April, as that's the peak season for heating oil demand.
Overall, heating your home with an oil furnace tends to be less expensive than heating your home with an electric heating system. Oil heating systems stay warm for longer periods of time without drawing a constant electrical current to maintain a temperature. Plus, heating oil systems typically have a longer lifespan and lower price tag than their electrical counterparts, resulting in short- and long-term savings.
