"We are extremely happy with how our new windows and new front door turned out. After some unexpected challenges with the way our home was built, our installation crew quickly and efficiently adapted to make sure our windows and door were installed with expert care. Every time we see our new beautiful picture window we are left breathless! And our beautiful front door is the perfect upgrade for the look of our home. Thank you RBA!"

"

I called James at 8:20 am Saturday morning. He said he had two others ahead of me but would be at my house at 1:00 pm. He called at 12:50 to tell me he would be here in 5 minutes. He arrived at 12:55. What a pleasure to have someone show up on time, For the next 3+ hours, James worked on all three of my computers. The first computer had 6 viruses which were downloaded when we tried to download an internet game. James removed the viruses, showed me how to prevent this from happening in the future, and then correctly installed the internet game. IN addition, he updated all programs, removed unnecessary programs, and installed

new programs to improve the quality. Jim then did the same work on my other two computers, one of which was found to have 232 viruses.
I am not computer literate; therefore, I cannot recall the details of additional work James did on all 3 computers. All I know is the computers are running smoothly and quickly. The cost was very reasonable.
I will use James in the future, and highly recommend him to others.

"The project went quite well.
We?re very pleased with the appearance of our home. It looks really good, better than when it was new. (The original finish was also Sto.) Water leaks in the parapets and windows were fixed and tested before the color coat. As with any job this large, there were unanticipated problems and a few changes along the way. Jay Adams, the Operations Manager for Reule, visited our house daily and discussed the what?s and why?s and when?s in as much detail as we wanted. Bob Reule came by at appropriate times to make sure he was satisfied and we were satisfied.
Reule Sun Corp is unusual -- a high-quality professional contractor in what is largely a commodity business. They?re knowledgeable and experienced. The workers are Reule employees; Jay Adams is thoughtful, thorough, and has decades in the business; Bob Reule takes personal responsibility for his company?s work.
Reule wasn?t our low-cost bidder. But we intend to keep our home for a long time, we take pride in its appearance, and we want to sleep well nights when it?s raining cats and dogs. Those in a similar situation should give Reule serious consideration.

"I spoke with Francis the owner to determine the best roofing system that would meet my needs.  I have chemical sensitivities and I wanted the least toxic product that would satisfy my needs for a waterproof roof.  Francis explained all of the options to me and suggested that Gaco had some products that I would be comfortable with.  He explained exactly how the products would be applied and provided MSDS sheets on all of the products.  All of the products used were very benign...I was thrilled!
The workman who had to clean my old roof and apply the new product were on time, professional, and competent.  One of the workmen provided me with photos of the completed work.  They did a thorough job of cleaning up the worksite.
I have some stucco work that needs to be done this Spring, and SF Stucco & Roofing will get the work!

Glass Block Windows questions, answered by experts

Their thickness depends on application, but most glass walls are typically 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch thick. Although it’s not as common, single panes of glass can also be 1 inch thick.

Glass block windows come in various patterns and styles that offer privacy and unique aesthetics. Frosted or textured glass diffuses light and enhances privacy. Wave-pattern glass blocks imitate ocean waves with flowing lines. Ice-glass blocks resemble cracked ice. Fluted glass blocks feature parallel vertical grooves, adding texture and depth. Clear glass blocks, similar to glass Coke bottles, offer transparency with some distortion and may have smooth surfaces or subtle textures, adding visual interest.

Heavy glass tends to be more expensive than thin glass because it is stronger and more durable. In most cases, ¼-inch-thick glass is ideal for mirrors, and ⅛-inch-thick glass is ideal for residential windows. Heavier glass isn’t always necessary, and can be more challenging to hang or install. Work with a local window installation pro for replacement or new construction windows.

Glass block windows typically last for 15 to 30 years, which is slightly less than the 20- to 50-year lifespan of standard windows. You can extend their life by resealing them every few years. Professional installation is also key to ensuring the windows are placed correctly and will function properly for years to come. A professional installer will have the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to install these features and can identify potential issues like damaged frames or cramped areas during a consultation.

Glass block mortar is the best choice for glass block window units. It is specifically formulated for glass block window installation. Glass block mortar is usually a mixture of Portland cement, sand, and special chemicals. It is a white mortar that is applicable inside and outside your home. Do not use regular tile mortar because it may not have the binding strength and flexibility required for glass block windows.
