"I have used Maddox plumbing for 10 years. They have always been very reliable and courteous. However, when things do not go perfectly that is when you can tell the true quality of service. I recently had an evaporative cooler installed. The technician did not install a new roof jack and stand for the new cooler. When I notified Maddox, they responded the next day and said that they would take care of this. They had a new stand and jack built and delivered it to be installed at no additional charge. "The technicians (Joe, CJ, and Larry) are all fantastic. The manager (Roger) comes across as pompous, condescending and belligerent. Roger threatened me with legal action after his company was the one who messed up twice. Once, when they failed to inform me of their payment collection policy and tried to tell me I was at fault; then again when they failed to immediately address an issue with a water line that they had supposedly fixed months ago. The manager spoke over me instead of listening to my concerns and tried to intimidate me with threats. I suspect he bullies his employees, as well. When he spoke of the technician whom he blames for failing to inform me of the payment policy his words were ?believe me he has what?s coming.? Furthermore, Roger tried to teach me how financial institutions function. I am a woman and do sound younger than my true age over the phone but it was not until I shared my age and profession with Roger that he changed his condescending tone. "

While not every clog has the same symptoms, the most common early sign that your main sewer line is clogged is that multiple drains in your home are draining slowly. You may also notice gurgling and odors from drains. If your plumbing system's drain cleanout is backing up with water, this is also a sign of a clog or blockage.

Your home has a few telltale signs of a sewer line problem. If you notice multiple plumbing fixtures (toilet, sink, or shower drains) appear to be clogged, call a plumber ASAP. Also, if water appears in the tub or shower when you flush the toilet, you likely have a sewer line issue. A sulfur (rotten eggs) smell and bubbling or gurgling noises at the drain also warrant a check. These wipes allegedly use materials that are more water-soluble than traditional wipes. However, many experts have raised concerns that even so-called "flushable" wipes do not break down as easily as claimed and can contribute to clogs and blockages in sewer systems.

To prevent plumbing and sewer problems, avoid flushing wipes, even those labeled as flushable. Instead, dispose of them in the trash. This can help prevent costly plumbing issues and reduce the strain on wastewater treatment systems.
