"I had a wooden fence that was poorly made in the first place by the builder of this house that was constantly blowing open when the wind started up in the afternoon I need to replace it, but I can’t do it right. This second RJ showed up head supplies with him to get the gate just closed and fortified so I don’t have to worry about it. He’s gonna be my new best friend."

"We needed to replace the window in our two-car garage. The work included removal of the existing window with its nail-fin frame; purchase and installation of the new vinyl window with its nail-fin frame; installation of moisture barrier, metal lath and skim coat; and repair of the stucco around the window. We obtained several quotes for the work and, although the quote from James was not the cheapest, decided to go with him on the basis of reviews posted on this site. The work done by James and his team was extremely professional and we are very happy with the new window. We have no hesitation in recommending Just Stucco and Windows and will use them again for any future stucco and window work on our home."

"Mr. Bay performed his electrical services in a very professional manner. He corrected electrical wiring/installation errors made by previous electricians, and installed both exterior and interior light fixtures expertly. He was very prompt to the job site, and provided both military/senior discounts for his services. I am exceedingly pleased with his and the company's performance."

"We hired Current Security and Electric to replace a light with a ceiling fan/light, add a ceiling/fan light to a room and troubleshoot a light in the garage and dining room. Peter and Kevin were a great team. They were professional, timely, and nice. When they found the issues with the two different lights listed above they walked through the issues and explained what was needed. After getting our approval to move forward with the fixes they were fast and verified the fixes were done properly. Before and after photos of the rooms are attached with the new ceiling fans they installed. The team had to do work in the attic for one of the rooms which turned out amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with electrical work needs."

"Angel was an excellent choice for our electrical work. We had to upgrade our panel, swap out light fixtures and fans, install new fans, move switches, ground all existing outlets and install security lights. He and his crew had attention to detail, were very professional, tidy and even pointed and fixed things that were not up to code in our home. I also liked that he cares about his crew and made sure they had a lunch hour and stopped working at 5 or 5:30. He listened to our needs and made great recommendations as well. I would most definitely hire them again!"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Depending on the thickness of the carpet, it can take anywhere from 4 to 12 hours for carpet to dry with a fan. The humidity and temperature of the room also play a role in drying time, as added moisture in the air can result in longer drying time.

Yes, you can oil an electric fan with machine or motor oil but don’t use cooking oil because it can become thick or seize up, damaging the fan. Before oiling your fan, turn it off and remove any dust and debris. Wipe away any excess lubricant after oiling.

A whole-house fan works best to pull chilled and dry air into your home in the early morning hours and at night. This system allows you to close your windows after turning off the fan and trap the cool air inside. You can run your whole house fan continuously for maximum ventilation and fresh air, or you can turn it on for ten minutes or so at a time to introduce cool, fresh air as needed.

The most efficient ceiling fan height is 8 to 9 feet from the floor to the fan blades. For ceilings higher than 9 feet, a downrod can be used to lower the fan to the optimal height. This positioning ensures adequate air circulation and maximizes the cooling effect. Remember, fans should be installed at least 7 feet above the floor for safety.

The average life span of a thermoelectric fan operating seasonally is two to three years. However, the life span of a wood stove fan depends on its quality, usage, and maintenance. Regular cleaning of the blades and ensuring the fan operates within its recommended temperature range can help prolong its life span.
