"Start was delayed by one day. Initial walk through with foreman did not happen as he did not show up until later. (He took very incomplete notes during initial contract discussion so made assumptions and mistakes, as did I.) Lost an entire faucet because I missed it on their contract rewrite. Ugh! Had to argue to get them to replace correct buckled walkway sections. The morning of the concrete deck pour had to have them reframe the deck due to not paying attention to detail. Also, I had to wrangle with them to come pick up the wood from the rotting decking being replaced with the concrete pour. It was way to much stress with these guys. This said, they were the best price. If you insist on a formal pre-contract-start walk through to make sure everyone is on the same page, they have good workers who know their stuff. The work is quality work. If you go in knowing you have to be the project manager, you can save a few bucks."

"A neighbor's nearby cottonwood tree had buckled our existing driveway so we needed the old driveway removed, roots cut and a high density, reinforced driveway poured. All work was performed as stated. The company said it might be a few weeks before they could schedule me but found an opening so that I got the work completed in less than a week. The receptionist, Brenda, was very communicative at all stages. Concrete finishers were clearly highly skilled. He was very pleasant and professional.  I am sure that it was a larger job than he had planned.  He said that there were layers and layers of build up on the tile floor over almost 20 years, but he took the time to clean it right.  It was a miracle!  The floor is actually white and so is the grout!  We were amazed and now we actually like the floor.  People who have seen the floor before say "Wow!" when they see it now.

He also told me how to care for it now.  I am only to steam clean it with a cleaner like shark and occasionally use white vinegar in the steam to cut any possible residue.  It was an extra expense for the labor of sealing the grout but I definitely recommend it.
