"One of the main reasons I went with Reule Sun Corp. is that I could have them do the windows AND stucco---so I didn't have to have lots of different contractors doing different jobs.  Also, I had interviewed six other window companies and the Reule company was the ONLY one who puts their windows in all the way to the nail fins.  Everyone else just cuts out your old window and lays their new one in and just caulks around it, and then puts up a trim piece to hide all that caulking!  If I was going to pay that much money, I wanted it done correctly.
The stucco job they did was amazing!  People are still stopping and looking---I've even seen some people taking pictures!
Every aspect of their work was exceptional!  They seemed to have the best people.  They all know their jobs, and do it perfectly, and are so nice to deal with.  I can't say enough good things about my experience.  I would recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect job done by the best people!"

"Mark came up to provide the estimate. He was very knowledgable, very professional, and very personable. We discussed the different types of film and came up with what would work best for my house. After Mark left I changed my mind on what type film would go on what window and Mark quickly made the changes. On the day of installation, I was notified that the installation crew would be arriving later than planned, but they arrived only a bit later than originally planned. The crew was very professional, efficient, and very friendly. The installation crew were constantly cleaning up after themselves and left the window areas extremely clean. I was super pleased with this company and and their installation crew.

"Sales process was good, courteous and helpful. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Did have a small issue with one sensor which was easily solved with a call. Control panel is easy to use and well constructed. Phone app is the best part. Not a big fan of a 2 year contract and the monthly rate feels a little high, but definitely a decent system. I had emailed them a question pertaining installing on double hung windows and never received a reply, but other than that their phone support prior to that was good."

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

Tinted window films for houses are usually made from a micro-thin sheet of thermoplastic resin called polyethylene terephthalate (PET) that offers the strength and flexibility needed when fitting film to a window. Homeowners looking for a solution that insulates a window without blocking light from a home should investigate low-e glass vs. window film.

The average cost for home window tinting is around $600, with most homeowners paying between $150 and $1,600. Costs can also be calculated per square foot, typically ranging from $2 to $100, or per window at around $75 each. For example, tinting one or two windows might cost between $200 and $350, while a larger project of 13 to 15 windows could range from $4,124 to $4,747.

Several factors influence the total project cost, with the number and size of the windows being the most significant. Other key factors include the type, shade, and quality of the tint film, as well as labor costs. Additional treatments, such as low-emissivity (low-E) coatings, can also increase material costs.

Window tinting offers several benefits, such as making your home more energy-efficient by blocking harsh sunlight, protecting furniture from fading, and increasing privacy. For this reason, many homeowners choose to tint only the windows in specific areas where direct sunlight and privacy are primary concerns.

ENERGY STAR®-certified windows are the most energy-efficient windows on the market. This certification means that the window meets strict efficiency guidelines set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency. While they might cost more upfront, they can save you money on your energy bills in the long run. ENERGY STAR®-certified windows lower household energy bills by an average of 12% annually.

If your window film doesn’t come with an installation kit and its own application solution, you can make your own—but don’t use soap! Instead, use 1 teaspoon of baby shampoo mixed with a gallon of bottled water. Make sure the bucket in which you mix this solution is completely clean.

To darken your windows without curtains, try installing window film or even installing an awning outside your windows. Window film is a DIY-friendly option with many different darkness levels you can choose from to fit your desired look. Awnings can also help by casting shade over your window, though this isn’t feasible for every home.
