After vetting 4 contractors, I chose Western Pest Services, and was very pleased with the entire process. they did a thorough evaluation of the attic space, evaluated my plan to run the installation tube through a 2nd floor window, and confirmed that there are no pests in the space. Sal is the sparkplug that makes it work seamlessly. He guides you in just what you need, and nothing you don't need. His estimates are detailed and very fair pricing. After consulting with Sal he was able to schedule the work in less than a week. The installation crew called ahead on the scheduled day and arrived exactly on time. Shawn led the crew of 4 techs who worked neatly and thoroughly, and cleaned up well. They did rim joist sealing and batt insulation in a somewhat complex situation where I have I joists adjoining the band board. They also did blown in fiberglass in the attic. For anyone considering insulation of any format I highly recommend Sal and Koala. And, the best part of this experience with the company....the total cost less than others who had rebate programs."
