Len The Plumber Heating & Air, LLC is a leading plumbing and drain company serving New Jersey. Our certified professional plumbers are available same day to assist residential customers in Burlington County and Camden County. Our knowledgeable plumbers have years of experience dealing with a wide variety of plumbing issues including plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, water heaters, well systems, heating systems, sewer, water, and gas lines. We’re open 7 days a week with no extra charge on evenings or weekends!

"Did not go well at all with Len the Plumber was over charged and feel scammed, Len the Plumber, Technician Len Feldman started approx. 12pm until 3pm most of time going over the cost, taking pictures and finding everything possible that needed to be done and presented 10-page contract. Len Feldman (Technican) assessed the problem that was a leaking outside faucet that he explained froze over the winter and needed to be replaced. While water was leaking he did not turn off the inside valve and requested to have water company (Trenton Water Works) come out and turn off water by the main water line. TWW came out several times but could not find the line and sent out a third construction worker to locate the water line. Meantime Len left his personal contact # and promised to return as soon as the main water line was shut off. When Water Works returned on 6/25 could not reach Len, but was able to locate the main water line Len finally called back and said it would be ok he would be able to turn the water off was currently in Mays Landing that is approx. 65 miles away and could not return 6/25 but would be at my home to complete the job 6/26 am. After 9am no call no Len, I called again several times when finally able to reach him at around 9:30am, said he spoke to Supervisor and could not do anything until the main water line was completely shut off. I called Len the Plumber office spoke to Office Manager Cathy#610-616-3377 she said would try to get someone out asap, by later in the afternoon no return call from Cathy. At this point and 2 days later for an emergency it was time to find another Plumber and I cancelled everything at Len the Plumber. The Plumber came out Friday 6/27 completed the entire job within 1 hour, turned off the inside valve connected to the outside leak immediately as well as water to install the same job Len the Plumber contracted to do that, Len said would take at least 6 hours. Main Water Line never had to be touched!!! I am appalled with Len the Plumber that I could trust thru Angi's List with a good reliable repetition. This company had no consideration about leaving me and my family including my 88-year-old handicapped mother without running water for days, all he was concerned about was how much commission he could make off someone in a vulnerable situation."

"Company is way to expensive and the work was not mediocre. They use GoodLeap for financing, and they rip you off with that contract as well. Stay away!"

"Wow. Waterworks. Where to begin. My family and I moved here from Washington State in 2019. We have a 100 year old house, and right before COVID my sewer pipes had issues and there was raw sewage filling my basement. I called my home warranty, Cinch, and they attached me to Waterworks. Bobby came out, assessed the damage, and they got to work. Then the guy running the operation, Joe, came on the scene. My basement freezer was unplugged, ruining a few hundred bucks worth of meat. I went out one day, smiled, asked if I could get them anything–usually that means something to drink, water. Joe said “Yeah, how ‘bout some Hoagies?” I thought it was a joke, but he was dead serious. Now if I say no, I’m the jerk. So lunch cost me 200 bucks. The day they were digging the trench to replace the pipe it was pouring. But they dug it anyway, destroying my whole yard. Joe said, don’t worry, lay some sod down–it’ll be cheap. They gave me options for run off to go to the curb–the dollar signs were already out of control. I ask what’s the cheapest, and he tells me to run it out the side for it to just go down to the street. At this point, being new to all this, that sounded fine. It wasn’t–it flooded my neighbor’s driveway every day. I call, Joe tells me to just bypass it so water goes out with the sewage. What I didn’t know was that it was illegal. To top it all off, the cleanout was put, sticking up, in the middle of my dirt yard–not close to the house, where it should have gone. He said not to worry, they’d cut it back in the spring and I could put a pond over it or bushes or something. Then it came time to get Cinch to pay me three of the TEN THOUSAND it cost me for the job. I had to nag and nag and nag before he said he was on the phone with them for hours, but he had made sure to get me the best price. The check, he said, would come to him and I could come pick it up there, but he’d have to charge me for billable hours. I call Cinch, they said they cut the check immediately and it would come to my house in a few days. I called good ‘ole Joe and called him on it. He said he thought I’d just want to tip him for such a bang up job they did, A few years roll by–I had the pipe cut back, ate the rest of the costs or did things myself. Years go by. 2023. I had to call about a different issue, and I was sent to Waterworks again. I lost it. I talked to the new manager/owner, can’t remember her name.. Said Joe was out, she was horrified, wanted to make it right, and maybe I’d want to give them a good review when all was said and done. Here’s what ‘right’ looked like: They did everything they were supposed to, but they would run a new pipe to the street. They would do it for a discounted grand. Again, lost it–I shouldn’t have to pay a dime. I had a friend, a contractor, come over and look after I told him about it. The pipe from basement to street is already there. There were leaves covering it. Now I want to sell the house, and I still have to deal with this. Yeah, they sure made everything right. If I could go negative, I would."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Snaking a drain can take as little as a few minutes for small, simple clogs, up to two hours or more for tough clogs located further down the drain line. For tougher clogs, a professional drain cleaner can likely get the job done much more quickly because they have the necessary tools and expertise. However, your drain cleaning pro might not be able to give you a firm time estimate until inspecting the clog and its surrounding plumbing.

Simple blockages can be cleared using household plungers or manual snakes, provided no severe plumbing issues exist.

Yes. Sewer cameras are invaluable tools that can help pros safely diagnose problems with your septic system. Without a camera to look into your system, septic issue diagnoses would be a combination of guessing and past experience. However, a camera can help confirm ideas that your pro may already have about what’s wrong.

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

This depends on the location of the blockage. If the blockage is in your home’s system, anywhere in the system, it is your responsibility as a homeowner. Blockages seldom happen because of items or buildup coming from the city, which means it originates in the home. It becomes the city’s responsibility at the exact point your home’s line distributes waste into the city’s system. The exception is if the problem in your home damages the city lines.
