"I am very pleased and happy with the cleaning.  I hadn't done a spring cleaning in a while, so it needed some TLC.  Cape Cleaning was very thorough and my house is gleaming!!!  If I could rate by starts it would be a 5 star... the best!!  I would recommend Cape cleaning to anyone who wants the job done right.  Nina is very kind and you can tell she wants her customers happy!! I will be using this service again in the future."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Access to professional tools ensures streak-free finishes and safety in hard-to-reach areas.

Clutter and disorganization can make even a clean house seem dirty. Decluttering unused items will make your home seem cleaner, and putting storage solutions into place will give a house a more organized look and feel. Other things that can make a house feel dirty include stained or faded carpets and upholstery, dirty or dingy walls, chipped paint, and disorganized shelves.

Professional house cleaners may use a variety of cleaning products, but a great option is a cleaning solution containing ammonia or white vinegar, water, and several tablespoons of dishwashing liquid.

Because the built-in blinds are encased in glass, they should not get dusty. You might, however, find that your door’s window panes get dirty. If that is the case and you wish to clean your patio door’s glass, first remove any loose debris with a small vacuum or brush. Next, fill a bucket with warm water and some mild dish soap. Dip a clean rag into the bucket and wet the glass on your patio door. Dry the glass with a clean microfiber cloth.

You can use hot, soapy water, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, window cleaner, nail polish remover, WD-40, and cooking oil to remove glass labels. You can also apply heat with a hair dryer or steam cleaner. Use a plastic scraper or credit card to remove the adhesive, as a razor blade can permanently scratch your glass.
