"This is a review of the *experience* we had with Quality. We had the basement waterproofed, so we won't really know how good the job is until a big rainstorm! So this is just the experience we had before and during the job. We reached out to Quality based on the Angie's List reviews, and were convinced by the visit from Greg. He was so knowledgeable about the water problems, and pointed out the years of experience the company has. Also, we weren't looking for a bargain, we were looking for a dry basement, and Greg was very straightforward about all the costs. Now we haven't had a rainstorm yet, so we still don't know the most important thing about the job! But Victor and his crew were fantastic. They knew what they were supposed to do when they got here, and did the whole job-- as quietly as possible-- in less than 4 hours. They were pleasant to have in the house. They left the place clean. "This was a big project for my wife and I.  We were very concerned about the overall cost and the structural integrity of the house foundation as the basement was being excavated.  Jerome and Damon did an outstanding job for us and made sure we were comfortable with the entire process.  Damon was especially attentive -- he is thoughtful, intelligent, resourceful and provided excellent service and advice.  The few problems that came up were dealt with quickly and I am extremely happy with the result - a clean, dry work space with a nice flat floor.  
95% of the job was completed in 5 days.  I am still amazed by this given that all the excavated material and the new concrete was handled in 5 gallon buckets exclusively.  The other amazing thing was how much the crew actually enjoyed the work; I wish I had as much fun on the job as the Select Basement crew - that tells me that Jerome treats his people the right way.

"Ed Chmura, the owner of Advanced Designs came to our house to look at the site and provide an estimate. Originally, we had been thinking of a poured concrete slab, but Ed pointed out why that would be needlessly expensive, and why concrete pavers were the better way to go for price, maintenance, and durability, as well as being far more attractive. He also explained in detail the work they proposed to do, how they would do it, and the materials they would use.
    Advanced Designs is a small company. They've been around for years, and they've survived by deliberately keeping it a small, "personal" business,  concentrating on customer service, and doing what they do best.
    There was a drop of several inches from the back door of the garage to ground-level, which was a problem because we needed the patio to be handicapped accessible. Ed and his crew foreman came up with a solution to this problem that did not require building up a huge berm of soil at the rear of the house or installing any steps. Rather, they installed the patio with a gentle slope up to the threshold of the garage door, the and result blended in nicely with the surrounding landscape.
    The work crew was highly professional, quiet, and well mannered. They completed the job in the space of an afternoon,  left the site clean after finishing their work,

"Larry came out for an estimate quickly.  I had to postpone work a bit because of some other issues with the house.  When I was ready to go, Larry came back out and we went through everything again.  This time a few other issues were brought to light.  I went with Foundation Experts because the recommendations seemed more logical than other ideas that had been proposed by other companies.  Once the contract was signed, work began quickly.  Quite a few workers were there for different aspects of the job.  Everyone was very friendly and professional.  Andy was involved in different aspects of the project than the others and was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and why.  The job didn't really take too much time and was spread out over 2 days.  Everything looks good.  The initial reason for my call to them was because of water pouring into my basement when it rains.  Hoping that what they did will do the trick.  Time will tell.
I have a few future projects in mind for them in the future.
