"Great! Susan came to my house within a few days of my initial phone call to her. I had explained what I was looking for, so she arrived with sample of differnet floors that might work well - we agreed on a beautiful faux barn-style flooring that has an intricate raised grain pattern and cork backing to keep it almost as quiet as the carpet had been. The flooring arrived in the warehouse wihtin a few days, and could have been installed almost immediately except for my schedule, so it had to wait a week till I could be home. The two installers arrived just a little earlier than I thought they'd be there (7:15), but that was all right since everyone was up and I was out front with the dog anyway. I couldn't believe how fast they ripped up all the rug, installed the floor, and cleaned up! They were done by around 11:00. The flooring went into the master bedroom, a very large walk-in closet (8x10) and a small hallway to the laundry room, so there were lot of cuts to make, and they also installed thresholds, shoe molding around the walls, and so forth - extremely professional job and very, very clean when they left. I had removed all the small items and decor from the room, as well as the longer hanging items and shoes from the closet, but the installers still had to move a lot of furniture to get the floor down, and it was all back in place when they were done. the floor is just beautiful now, and I wish I had done this years ago! (I have two cats and a dog who is not really committed to his house training, and that carpet was at least 20 years old... you get the picture.) I was delighted with the service throughout this experience and I love, love, love my new floor! I'll be calling Susan again."

To help a friend while she went on a cruise, I volunteered to care for her dog, Daisy.  A more appropriate name would be Daisy the Destroyer. 

Each day of her ten-day stay, Daisy visited another malady on my house; the last whereby she chewed a section of the rug. I was concerned that no carpet repair store would want a job this small.  And, though I had never used the Merchant before, I called and left a voicemail to explain the damage. 

Steve Patton returned my call within 30 minutes and said he would stop by the next day to examine the damage.  Fortunately, I had a small carpet remnant that Steve could use and we made an appointment for Steve to return on Monday to do the repairs. It only took 45 minutes for Steve to switch out the rug sections, and I could not be happier or more pleased!!  There are NO seams or other tell-tale signs that would indicate where the damage had been.

"I was referred by a girlfriend of mine who said that they did really nice work at a reasonable cost. I called them and they came out right away with samples and everything. The salesman was really nice and walked me through all the steps and even took time to help me pick out something that would look good in the bedroom. Once we agreed on the price, which was cheaper than our first estimate, I gave a deposit and they ordered the carpet. It took about a week and a half to come in, but once it did we were ready to go. The salesman communicated the whole way through giving updates and being very meticulous about the details. once we were scheduled they called the night before to make sure that we would be ready and they showed up the next day early and ready to work. The installers were courteous and very professional they moved all of our furniture from the girls room and were very careful not to damage anything. They worked through most of the morning into the afternoon never really bothering us at all and completed their job vacuumed and put all of the furniture back. The carpet looks beautiful and even a week or so later still looks fabulous with no problems. They even gave us a courtesy call after the job was done to see if we were satisfied and to make sure that there were no problems. All in all it was a great experience from beginning to end, I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends or family
