"Eric takes his time to insure that the prep work is done right. He is careful and very knowledgeable about his craft. He did our trim and shutters that had not been painted in 14 years as well as the old garage door. This required a lot of sanding, scraping and re puttying the windows and doors. They now look almost brand new especially the garage door. His prices are very competitive and much better than the big paint consolidating chains. We will have him back to refinish our kitchen cabinets. You can trust Eric to do a first class job."

"The painters were prompt, more than prompt, friendly--and so careful--both with the power washing and the painting. They were also efficient. Power Washing one day--all the repair and painting the next. Special kudos to the kind and meticulous foreman Hus. Our little house has never looked so good. And so pleased my husband at 74 no longer had to scale those ladders. Totally happy."

"Needed celing repaired and painted after skylight replaced. Byron did a great job! And then he painted the entire kitchen all in one day and came back the next day with a helper to finish up. Overall, it's the best paint job I ever got and customer service was also great."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Aftercare includes routine cleaning, checking for water repellency, and promptly addressing any chips or peels, maintaining the deck's appearance and functionality.

DIY is possible but presents risks of uneven surfaces or improper adhesion; professionals offer expertise to ensure a lasting finish.

The best type of paint for concrete exterior surfaces like concrete porches, steps, or walkways is high-quality exterior-grade paint with strong weather resistance. Acrylic latex blends with tiny anti-slip particles will help create an anti-slip coating for your concrete porch. This type of paint will stand up best to the elements, especially rain, snow, and ice. An exterior epoxy will also help strengthen your concrete porch.

Yes, you can and should paint or stain pressure-treated wood, as this helps prevent the surface from cracking. However, it is crucial to wait for the wood to dry out completely from the chemical treatment process before applying a finish. If the wood is still wet, the paint will not adhere properly. The drying time can range from weeks to six months. To test if the wood is ready, drip some water onto a board. If the water is absorbed, the wood is dry enough for painting or staining. If the water beads up on the surface, it needs more time to dry. You can build with the wood while it's still wet, but you must wait for it to dry before painting.

Yes, it is generally a very good idea to seal your deck after pressure washing. Power washing removes not only dirt and debris but also a thin layer of wood, leaving the surface exposed and more susceptible to weathering. Sealing is almost always needed after this process. After a general cleaning, sealing isn't automatically necessary if the existing sealant is still intact. You can test the surface by placing a few drops of water on it. If the water beads up, the sealant is working. If it soaks into the wood, it's time to apply a new sealant. If it has been a few years, it's wise to remove the old sealant, wash the deck, and reseal for maximum protection.
