"Mr. Jermyn is very knowledgeable about his profession. He came out the same day I needed someone to come and give an estimate when I couldn't get anyone else to come. It had been raining a lot and the fireplace had flooded. Although he didn't have a professional appearance he was courteous and very helpful. Due to the rain, the job took longer than expected. One thing that he could have done better was to communicate when he wasn't showing up. I had to call to find out instead, on some days, when it was not raining and I thought he could have come by to continue the work. His son assisted with the work and was very courteous as well and even cleaned the gutter that was near the chimney area. That was very nice of him, at no extra charge. Mr. Jermyn will come back around September to conduct a cleaning!"

"Two gentlemen arrived, very courteous and professional.  I escorted one gentleman to the furnace area to investigate what would be cleaned.  I was amazed to see what I saw!  Soot (looking more like crumbled dirt and sand) nearly filled the flue; solid evidence there was a serious and potentially unsafe problem in that side of the chimney.  The other gentleman shared that he'd go to the top of the chimney to advise me of the condition.  He also took pictures on their phones so I could see the condition above.  There was no cap on the furnace chimney (I had one on the fireplace chimney).  He also looked into the fireplace chimney which I greatly appreciated.  One gentleman advised me of the cost of the repairs, I agreed to the cost, and they began working.  These gentlemen were outstanding; demonstrating great concern for the safety of my home.  I would not hesitate to use them again.

"Called Christman Chimney Repair on Wednesday. They arrived on Thursday.
After inspection and cost estimation, I agreed to the work and price, and the crew started that afternoon.
A medical emergency (not job related) caused the work to be interrupted. They explained the circumstances and promised to finish the job the next day.
The next day they arrived, finished the job, billing exactly what was quoted.
The work  looks good, the flashing repair stopped the leak, as evidenced by the lack of leaking  during the Hurricane, and things appear to be in a good state.
