"From the initial phone call to the completion of the job Quality 1st provided top notch professional service. A couple points which makes this easy to write. Communication is key whether in person or via telephone and Q1 was exceptional in this regard at every point. Telephone conversations with customer services was pleasant and cordial, never rushed or snotty. Paul our salesman was here for quite a while answering questions and assessing our needs in the basement. Of only was he on time for our appointment he was about 10 minutes early too. The cost of this project was a good chunk of change for us but after too many times of shop-vac’ing water we knew it was time to bite the bullet and move forward with making life a little easier and not have the issue of when will we get water in the basement again hanging over our heads. I was impressed that Quality 1st uses their own products and has their own R&D facilities. As for the installation, enough cannot be said for the crew that was here. I got the call at 9am they would be here in 20 minutes and at 9:20 they were backing in my driveway. I met the foreman Mario and his 2 helpers. We went into the basement and they looked around and asked if I had any questions. We had almost everything out of the basement and what was left they covered in plastic. By 9:50am they were running the jackhammers. We have a 1,500 sqft ranch and these guys worked all day, they didn’t stop and worked their tails off. I can’t remember exactly when the jackhammer stopped but by 2 pm the channel was dug out and they were beginning to lay out for the channel that carries the water to the sump. About 4pm Kyle showed up to assess the job and see if I had any questions or concerns. We spoke about the job and we went downstairs to see the progress. He stayed on site for about 45 minutes after making sure I was comfortable with how the job was going. By 5:15 or so the job was completely finished. Before they left Mario went over everything regarding the sump system. As far as cleanup, this is a dusty job. Concrete dust is ultra fine and they did a fantastic job of not only sweeping but they also dusted off areas which were not covered in plastic. They left no mess to speak of., I was very satisfied with their work and attention to detail. It’s easy to nitpick any job at anytime and there is nothing I would call them out on. Finally as for the functionality of the sump system I wish I had a comment on that at this time. We’ve lived in our house for 25 years and until around Thanksgiving of this year (2018) we’ve only had water about 4 times. Between Thanksgiving (2018) and New Years (2019) we got slammed 4 times and nothing since. With the symptoms of how our basement got water, I feel comfortable with the system Quality 1st installed and am confident they will stand behind their work and warranty. We’re also happy this is transferable to the next homeowner when we sell the house and it is an excellent selling point when the time comes."

"JSD properties took a 2 car garage and turned it into grammas new home. This included an entire bathroom install, a kitchenette, a sitting room and a small bedroom. In addition, a new dining room was also added onto the main house. With a baby in the house we were concerned with who we dealt with. The work was great, very satisfied. Everything looks nice and works as it should. His crew was beyond wonderful. Not only were they multi-talented and handled every aspect of the building and construction process, they were very respectful, they took extra safety precautions because of the baby. I liked that at the end of each day, they completely cleaned up everything. I am very happy to know that I have a nice, comfortable space to help raise my grandchild in. "To prevent in-house water leaks, out stucco chimney had to be replaced, not simply repaired. The insurance adjuster stressed the need to find someone skilled enough to replace every layer properly. Sam, at Progressive Renovation, was the only contractor we interviewed to tell us exactly what the adjuster advised, and his cost estimate was identical to the adjusters. The crew worked on our site constantly (except during rain) and not only restored the chimney, but did so with better materials and workmanship than we had before. Everyone was friendly, highly competent, and a joy to be with."

"Luis and his crew arrived promptly at the prearranged time. He introduced himself and we went over what they were there to do. They proceeded to bring in their equipment and went right to work. When the Sump pump and dehumidifier installation was completed they went over how it worked, advised how to register the respective warranties and started the new equipment. They thoroughly cleaned up the basement where they were working. Luis also went over the outside discharge line for the sump pump. I then exited the house while Luis sprayed for the mold conditions in the basement. I was very satisfied with the professionalism of Luis and his crew and will definitely recommend Quality 1st basements to anyone who are looking for this type of service."

My stairs (concrete/limestone/brick) completely cracked with the most recent snowstorm and I was desperate to get it fixed. I called Wilmar and he came right away and gave me a reasonable price. I have a good gift in judging character and integrity. Wilmar was completely transparent with the price and how long it would take to do the job. He gave me the date and time and he was actually right on time and got the job done perfectly in time for me to move on to my errands for the day. My stairs came out PERFECT. I love efficiency and Wilmar also let me know of other things I should consider fixing in the future. I’ve got a lot of work to do on my house and I found my go to guy.
