"This is a review of the *experience* we had with Quality. We had the basement waterproofed, so we won't really know how good the job is until a big rainstorm! So this is just the experience we had before and during the job. We reached out to Quality based on the Angie's List reviews, and were convinced by the visit from Greg. He was so knowledgeable about the water problems, and pointed out the years of experience the company has. Also, we weren't looking for a bargain, we were looking for a dry basement, and Greg was very straightforward about all the costs. Now we haven't had a rainstorm yet, so we still don't know the most important thing about the job! But Victor and his crew were fantastic. They knew what they were supposed to do when they got here, and did the whole job-- as quietly as possible-- in less than 4 hours. They were pleasant to have in the house. They left the place clean. "Essex & Morris did a fantastic job.  I waited until now to post a review because I wanted to see how the new driveway held up over the winter.  I was a bit concerned given the timing of the work (mid November) but John assured me that it would not be a problem and he was correct.  The scope of the work was to rip out the existing crumbling driveway, replace it, add Belgium blocks along the side and to replace part of the adjacent sidewalk that was also in bad shape.  Communication was prompt, the service was expertly done and I have nothing but good things to say.  You may find another contractor that will offer a lower a quote but I am willing to pay more for quality and I am happy to have done so."

"Larry came out and did an analysis of our exterior drainage system, as we were having some puddling issues in the front and rear of our yard. We had just moved into the home a few months prior and Larry also did an analysis of our basement as we were having some concerns about the slightly bowed wall in our basement. Larry was very thorough and took a lot of time to go through the details of the exterior french drainage system he would install. He responded back to us in a timely manner and was extremely reasonable with their quote compared to other bids we had received from other contractors.
Larry and his team came out to the house and made quick work of a tedious job.  They took good care to keep the job-site as tidy as possible. Although Larry changed from the original plan, we felt comfortable with this as he was very thorough when explaining the reasons behind the change and we felt he had our best interest at heart. If we had any questions Larry was always available to answer them for us even when we called at 9pm.
We had a walkway that they had to cut through in order to run the piping for the drainage and Larry even added concrete to fix the walkway even though it wasn't in our original proposal.
We feel like with the work that was completed we got an excellent price and we have the peace of mind knowing that the job was done properly.

"Mr. Roco showed up with his team ready to work hard. He worked 6 days a week. The outside company we hired to providing the milling of the historic window trim got behind on their orders. Mr. Roca took advantage of this three-week delay, and got in the room and painted and did everything he could while we waited on the trim to be made. When the trim arrived, in one day he finished up. Painting was completed. They also spent another half day doing a thorough clean up job.  There was not a speck of paint. 
Mr. Roca is an excellent contractor. His team is professional, highly skilled, responsive, careful, and neat.  They are real perfectionist. The mitered corners were skillfully completed. The floor and ceiling beautiful, and the paint job was perfect.  The sidewalk and apron paving was also perfect. 
Their work on our sidewalk and aprons was so well done - that five of our neighbors hired them as well to re-do their sidewalks too. Now we have a whole block of beautiful sidewalks. 
 Mr. Roca's team are also very friendly and quiet. They tidied up each evening.  They have good work ethics and show up on time. They did not rush the work and as a result and most importantly, their work product was excellent too.  
I highly recommend this contractor.  We will definitely be hiring them again for future projects.
