On Friday, Aug. 1st,I noticed that my garbage disposal was leaking when I turned the water on.  I called Ed and he said he was going on vacation and one of his associates would be able to get to me on Monday.  I was disappointed because I was having guests over on Sat. and it was going to be difficult to prepare things with a leaking sink.

To my great surprise and relief, I rec'd a call from Ed Sat. morning asking me if I'd like him to come out and I, of course, said yes.  He was at my house 1/2 hour later and installed a garbage disposal that we purchased at Home Depot. The installation got a little more involved because the pipe was badly corroded and also needed to be replaced.

I greatly appreciated the fact that he squeezed in my job before departing for his vacation.

We've used him in the past for other jobs at our house and at my mother-in-law's house and I would highly recommend him.

"We could not be happier with the Puronics Hydronex iGen Whole home treatment system and Micromax 7000 drinking water system provided by Orbit Water Solutions. Justin, the marketing rep who sold us the system, was very professional and accommodating. Justin took about an hour to demonstrate a series of tests which reflected to quality of our water which had more chlorine and hardness than we expected. If you have concerns for lead, Orbit standard demonstration does test for it so you will need to have a separate test done. Within a couple days, the installation team came out to install the system. They arrived on time but the installation took a little bit longer than expected. Turns out our the installed garbage disposal was too large to fit with the RO unit tank under the sink. Orbit was very accommodating though. Orbit purchased a new garbage disposal and installed it free of charge which I bet many companies would not have done. I highly recommend getting the larger of the under sink tanks for the RO unit. Even with the two gallon tank, my family has used up all the water in the tank. A 1 gallon tank would just not have been enough. The water in our house has been incredible since we installed the system a few months ago. We noticed an immediate impact to our skin and hair after using it and our drinking water certainly tastes better. Best of all, we feel confident in the quality of the water we use throughout the house to keep us safe and our appliances in good condition. We highly recommend the investment in the water treatment systems through Orbit."

A week after the installation we are now facing a heat wave, and I can already see the benefits of this program. My house does not heat up because of the attic. The air conditioning runs less frequently, and the house seem far more comfortable.

The best part is that PEPCO agrees to a rebate off the cost of the installation. This makes the process and unbelievable bargain.
