"My mother's house was vandalized. There were holes in all the walls. I patched most of them but working all day as an essential worker and working on my mother's house all night for a month became difficult. I called Patch Pros Plus and Ron was kind and empathetic. I thought because of the holidays they would not have time for me, but he set up a time to assess the walls and came up with a price right away. They were finished in a day and a half! The walls look perfect! I could not have had anyone do a better job. Thank you Patch Pros Plus. I would recommend you anytime! I appreciate all you did. Thank you. Happy Holidays."

"Master Attic removed my old and rodent infested insulation, thoroughly cleaned out all the junk in my attic, vacuumed all the dirt, debris, and rodent feces, sealed all air leaks, installed rodent-proof cages around any entry points to the attic, sanitized the entire attic space and installed new insulation throughout. Francisco and his crew were fantastic! Great job by Master Attic! Thank you!"

"Dan and his team are so very friendly, most capable, punctual, respectful of my time and house, available by phone/text with immediate response time. They did dry wall install/repair/replace & paint (walls & ceilings) in 4 rooms + 2 hallways + 3 bathrooms + installed a ceiling (+paint) in the basement. Very reasonable price. Completely satisfied."

Small jobs welcome

Customers say: Super punctual

"We were extremely happy with the plaster work did for us. Greivin first visited to check the job and provided a very reasonable estimate the next day. We scheduled the work for a week later. Greivin and his assistant showed up on time. They were very professional and friendly. The work area was cleaned to our satisfaction, and the ceilings were left ready for painting as agreed. We highly recommend JNA Contractors LLC for any plaster/drywall work."

"I hired Naples Drywall to drywall my kitchen for a remodeling project. Joe did a great job. He came over quickly and gave me a fair quote and started the job right when I needed him. His work was fast, and installation and finishes were perfect. I would recommend Naples Drywall."

"The crew did a wonderful job, turning a bare cement basement into a cozy getaway. They framed up and insulated the walls and painting the ceiling black to make it seem larger. They also fixed some rotted railings and installed two new basement windows. Very professional, and were careful to keep things clean."

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

Yes, cabinets are installed over drywall. The drywall must be in good condition, and you must ensure that the wall can handle the weight of the cabinets. Secure the cabinets to studs and use proper anchoring devices, like toggle bolts.

Yes, you can hammer a nail into a wall stud. But before you do, it’s important to confirm that you’re actually nailing into a stud—and not wiring, pipes, or ductwork. To check, find a few more studs in the wall, then measure to make sure they’re either 16 or 24 inches apart.

The best way to make long, straight cuts is to use a utility knife and a T-square to score the sheet, snap along the score, and then finish the cut by cutting through the paper on the opposite side with the utility knife. If you’re making small cuts, curved cuts, or cutouts for electrical boxes or light fixtures, you can use a manual jab saw to keep costs down, but an electric spiral saw or oscillating multi-tool will get the cleanest, fastest cuts possible.

Choose a drill bit that is the size of the screws of the anchors you will use. You aren’t drilling through metal or concrete—hopefully—so any standard twist, wooden or all-purpose drill bit will work fine. It’s also important to have a screwdriver capable of drilling through the drywall and into the stud. The good news is most available drills, even the older ones, can do this with no issue.

Yes, a fan can help drywall mud dry faster by improving air circulation and reducing humidity in the room. Drywall mud dries through evaporation, so increasing airflow speeds up this process. However, you should position the fan to blow across the room rather than directly on the wet mud. This helps prevent drying too quickly, which can cause cracking. You should also use a dehumidifier if high humidity is an issue.
