"The 3 gentlemen (Carlos, Rafael and Justin) completed the installation of my beautiful bath tub today. They went above and beyond any other installation company that I've ever hired. They take pride in their work. They are respectful, punctual and curtious. If something arises beyond their control, they speak to you about it and take care of the issue in a professional manner with no panic. When Carlos says "no worries, we want you to be happy when we're done," trust and believe you will be pleased with the finished product. Thanks again Carlos, Rafael and Justin. You guys do beautiful work and I would definitely recommend you to everyone I know. I would put in a special request for you all if I ever need any of the services you provide. Thanks for doing a great job cleaning up too. God Bless!!!!!"

"Everything ran very smooth. Once he determined the problem, he had the parts on the truck and proceeded to make the repair. Dana was very friendly explaining what he had done. Tested the unit, making sure everything was working properly. I only have good things to say about Laury and all their techs."

"Tech was able to tell me what the error code meant but did not want me to order part until testing with volt meter. Diag appointment with volt meter did not cost extra. Tech gave me part numbers and it fixed the problem."

"As a retired contractor from PA, I've found it very difficult to find good technicians/tradesman in this area. I was almost embarrassed to resort to Angie's List but it's been worth it to find professionals. I contacted Clays through here and they were extremely courteous and customer friendly. The office was great to deal with and my technician, Matt, was a pro. He performed a thorough service on my heater and when he was done he explained everything to me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"Excellent company, schedule staff, and technicians! Highly recommend! Working with A. M. Botte via text, we arranged a good time of day for the tech to arrive. As it turned out, they were able to arrive early and they called to see if that would work for me. It did, and Melvin 'Mel' arrived about 30 minutes ahead of the original window. ?? Mel introduced himself and donned his cloth booties so he didn't track any dirt into my home. He then inquired about, examined, and diagnosed the issue, went over the options and we agreed on the cost. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and really informative! During the inspection, he showed me several helpful homeowner tips as we passed various parts of my plumbing system. He prepped the work areas to protect my wood floors and went back to the truck for the required tools (taking off and replacing the cloth booties). ? He went to work on the clog and in just a few attempts with the power snake located and cleared the clog. We took photos of the culprit (a large, long hair ball - ?). I am pretty much bald, so I felt vindicated that it wasn't *my* hair! ? After checking at the cleanout that all the impacted drains were clear, Mel reseated the toilet, set his equipment on the tarp in the hallway, and wiped down the walls (even though the marks were from *my* attempts to fix the clog earlier in the week). ? Once his tools were loaded on the truck, Mel took a 'completion' photo of the powder room where the snake work was done and the outside cleanout where we checked the drains. I wrote a check, signed the electronic 'paperwork', and Mel wished me a great weekend - - which it will be now that I don't have to spend it trying to clear a drain clog that obviously required a pro! I called A. M. Botte to commend their company and Melvin in particular. I will definitely call them again when I need a plumbing professional in the future!"

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

When learning how to test for asbestos in a popcorn ceiling, you have an option for a DIY job or to hire a professional tester. You can purchase a kit at a hardware store and use personal protective equipment while doing the test. If you don’t want to risk any potential exposure to asbestos, hire a professional asbestos testing company instead.

Yes, most services include testing the generator to ensure functionality. Confirm with your provider.

Epoxying over asbestos tiles is generally considered a safe option when done correctly. Epoxy acts as a sealant, encapsulating the asbestos tiles and preventing the release of asbestos fibers into the air. The key is ensuring that the asbestos tiles are in good condition, firmly adhered to the substrate, and not damaged or deteriorating. This method is only appropriate for tiles that are undamaged and securely in place. If the asbestos tiles are already loose, damaged, or deteriorating, encapsulating them with epoxy may not be a sufficient solution, as it might not address the potential for ongoing asbestos exposure.

Although the use of asbestos has declined since the 1980s, it remains in several different types of building construction materials for insulation and as a fire retardant. Typically, asbestos can be found in materials such as ceiling and floor tiles, heat-resistant fabrics and coatings, and roof shingles. You may also find asbestos in textured paint and patching compounds.

While it's possible to cover asbestos tile with carpet, it's not recommended. Encapsulating tile beneath carpet doesn't eliminate the health risks. Over time, the asbestos tiles could degrade, releasing fibers into the air and potentially contaminating the carpet. Disturbance during carpet installation or removal might also release fibers.
