"The cost was part of the insurance settlement on the move. Their responsiveness took a while. They repaired the couch that you would not know that there was any damage at all. There was only one worker and it was the owner. He was good. He was fine."

Emergency services offered

"From the beginning we had a great experience. Since I suffer from allergies I was looking for an organic and "allergy" friendly process to clean our rugs. Felistus was very professional in returning my call in a timely manner. She gave me the requested information about their services answered all of my questions and was able to book an appointment very soon that worked into my schedule. Aaron, one of the owners of the company, called 15 minutes early to let me know he was near and assessed what needed to be cleaned once he arrived. He was very personable and gave me advice and suggestions on how to maintain our rugs. We are very pleased with the outcome...no wet rugs, heavy fumes to breathe for days on in. All looks clean and smells great too!"

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can clean your air conditioner filter as a temporary fix for cleaning up dirt, but you’ll eventually need to replace it once the dust starts to accumulate. Use a vacuum with a hose attachment to clean your air filter at least once per year or more often if you have pets.

NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certification is not legally required for HVAC technicians in most areas, but hiring a professional with this certification is highly recommended. NATE-certified technicians demonstrated their expertise and proficiency in different types of HVAC systems, offering assurance of quality service. It's a voluntary certification, yet it indicates a commitment to professionalism and ongoing training. Choosing a NATE-certified technician often means you're working with someone who is up-to-date on industry standards and best practices, which can lead to better service, energy efficiency, and long-term cost savings.

As a general rule, HVAC air filters should be replaced every one to three months (or every 90 days). However, the ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the filter type and your home's environment. For instance, if you use thinner filters (1-2 inches deep), have pets, have household members with allergies, smoke indoors, or frequently keep windows open, you may need to change the filter as often as once a month. It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation as a guideline and visually inspect the filter monthly to see if it's dirty. Regular filter changes are crucial for maintaining proper airflow, good indoor air quality, and efficient HVAC system operation.

Regular filter changes, professional servicing, and checking for airflow blockages improve performance and longevity.

The lifespan of a whole-house air purifier or filtration system depends on several factors, but with proper maintenance, they are built to last. A whole-house system that integrates with your home's ductwork can last 10 to 15 years, or even for the entire lifetime of your existing HVAC system. To maximize the unit's lifespan, perform regular cleanings, change filters as recommended, and schedule an annual inspection to catch potential issues early. The system's longevity also depends on its frequency of use and how hard it must work to maintain your desired air quality. For comparison, smaller, portable air filter systems typically last between five and ten years.
