"Awesome! I worked with Ed at Main Line Kitchens to design our kitchen during a very stressful whole house renovation / expansion. To say he worked with me is an understatement. Ed might just have earned his counselor credentials as he guided me through some uncertainties, even calling me late one night from home after receiving a distressed email about a decision I was making. He ultimately helped steer me towards a cabinet line that fit my desired look, features, timeline, and budget and helped me see the pros and cons of the choices made along the way. He never pressured me and was able to accommodate a seemingly impossible timeline. He even came out to measure twice without complaint when my contractors weren't ready the first time -- not at all his fault -- but he was gracious and kind and took it in stride. Ed was personable and easy to work with and I never felt like a number in his book. When we received our cabinets I wasn't happy with a couple doors (normal issues you would anticipate with a large order and a perfectionist on the receiving end) Ed worked with the vendor and had them replaced and shipped immediately to me and the job wasn't delayed. The vendor even called direct to ensure I was happy with the replacements. It is clear MLK has a strong reputation with their suppliers. Ed was quick with recommendations for other vendors when I needed materials fast for flooring, countertops, etc. and all the other vendors knew and respected Main Line and Ed. Our new kitchen is truly the center of our home and we have Ed to thank for bringing it all together. I would recommend Ed and MLK to anyone in need of kitchen design services and cabinetry. In fact, I already have. I did my due diligence and shopped around and was very happy with the competitive pricing that came along with the white glove service and hand holding I received through this process. "Ronda came to us through our general contractor. She assisted us in selecting our cabinets, counter tops, hardware and tile. She met with us multiple times at our house to work through the cabinet design. And we met with her multiple times at her studio and the tile shop to select our counter top and tile. Always ready to help, she is knowledgeable and has innate design ability. More than that, she can explain her design choices, yet is willing to discuss alternatives and work through the design process in a collaborative manner, bringing many ideas to the table – or kitchen, as it were. She listens to her clients and was able to translate our ideas into a comprehensive design. Throughout the process Ronda worked with our contractor and with us to make certain everything came together as planned. While there were a number of minor snafus, she was always there to make certain issues were resolved and to keep the job moving ahead. Cabinets and counter tops are a significant portion of the remolding cost. Cabinet manufactures are not all that interested in dealing directly with the customer. Rather, they work through their distributors. We purchased our cabinets through Ronda who has a strong working relationship with the manufactures she deals with and can easily work out issues.
