The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. Steven and his workers are professional and courteous. They complete the job quickly and cleanly. They are flexible with scheduling as well as with working around other contractors. Flying Colors Roofing and PaintersWe were concerned about the approach the prior owners in our house took to keep the roof updated. We weren't off base as they did some very "interesting" patch work. Steve and his team were nothing short of incredible. He has maintained our roof for a few years prior to the time in which we did the full job a month ago. It's hard to find contractors who are responsive, transparent, and communicate well. Steve and his team did all of those things very well. The whole job took 3 days even though it required some more work than initially anticipated. I honestly can't say enough good things about Steve and his team and they have completely earned my trust. I will be a repeat customer for years to come as he is a great guy, treats his employees and customers well, and the passion for his business shines through in all his interactions. They replaced with new plywood at a reasonable cost. Just observing Steve's crew as they installed the new shingles made me glad I choose a licensed professional roofing company like Flying Colors. Jimmy's Gutter Company scheduled work on 4/30/2021 for 9:30 AM. Did not show up until 11:30 AM. As job was completed around 1:15 PM it began to rain and ruined the newly painted work. Contractor guaranteed his work and promised that he would repaint the following week. Contractor stated that it was not his fault that it rained. I replied by telling him it is his responsibility not to paint when it is going to rain. It has been two weeks and he continues to provide the same answer. I will get to it when I get to it. Would not recommend his services to others. Reply to SP's response. The recent comment by the service provider is not accurate nor true. When the provider came to to my house and did the gutter upon completion I asked if his company paints, and he said yes. I asked him to provide me a quote for painting and he did. I have numerous text on my phone related to this matter. He never recommended any painters to me, he told me his son would come and paint, and his son did on 4/30/2021.
