Some would call our service bee removal, but what we do is much more than that. Our objective is to safely remove and rescue honeybees from your property, and then re-home them to one of our bee yards where they can thrive undisturbed. We will remove your live bees intact - along with the comb and relocate bees, comb and brood to our apiary. Please be sure you actually have honeybees and not wasps or bumblebees before getting in touch. We'll be happy to help you in the identification of your insect. Because our "smart phones" are always ready to receive texts and emails, we'll be sure to get back to you in short order. Feel free to text or email us photos too. Although our beloved honeybees have been in trouble in recent years, they are making a comeback. We're here to help.

"I have paid thousands and thousands of dollars over the years to another company to try to control these horrendous insects which would come every year without fail to destroy my beloved flowers within days after I'd plant them. I have a medical condition and can no longer work. I also can't drive because of this condition and the public transportation in my state stinks, so I'm stuck in my home alone most of the day all winter long since I can't get around too often. I have to rely on my family, but they all work. I love gardening, so when spring starts I can finally go outside, get some fresh air and start the season doing my favorite hobby. This other company would call me every winter to offer me a package deal which costs almost a thousand dollars so they would come several times throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons to try to control them. I would also use my own mixture using a no frills dish washing soap along with water and spray the flowers directly (which kills them instantly), yet almost daily I would see spider webs destroying my flowers. Every summer I would get depressed seeing my babies dying, and I would have to replace them several times over and over again. I also stopped planting them in the ground and used pots instead to try to control them. After almost 15 years of using that company and wasting my money, I finally gave up. When the rep called me last winter, I told him I was going to find another company. That was the best thing I ever did. I found Bug Bust Pest Management here on Angie's List in the end of last March. This gentleman (I believe his name was Dan) came to spray all of my front and backyards and he only charged me $385. I planted my flowers soon after it was done. It's now June and so far I've hardly seen any of those spiders mites or their webs. It's not only protected my original bushes, but I still have the same flowers I first planted (still in the pots) and I am actually seeing them start to bloom. I haven't needed to replace them yet. I got to see all my spring flowers that blossomed on all my bushes (that are supposed to last only during that season), and I can't wait to see my summer flowers bursting out in full action. It makes me so happy every morning to be able to enjoy gardening again. I love getting compliments from neighbors, friends and strangers when they pass by. I still use my own spray for extra protection. It is so wonderful to see my beautiful flowers come alive and stay that way using the loving hard work I put into them. Now the only things I have to deal with are the weeds, but that's the job I don't mind. Bug Bust is the best!!!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Squirrels follow a diurnal routine like humans, remaining quiet at night because they sleep. Homeowners concerned about squirrels in their homes are more likely to hear these critters in the early morning when they awaken, eager to start their day and search for sustenance. As the sun sets, squirrels wrap up their daily endeavors and return to their cozy nests for the night's rest.

Strong scents like peppermint, rosemary, lavender, citronella, and others can repel woodpeckers—as pungent smells can overpower their senses. For that reason, you might consider making a homemade spray with one or a combination of these scents to spritz around areas of your home where woodpeckers frequent.

Wasps dislike a great many essential oils, such as clove, geranium, and lemongrass. Combine a few drops of each in a cup and place this cup outside to repel wasps from your immediate surroundings.

Rabbits face a range of formidable adversaries in rural and suburban areas. Natural predators such as hawks, foxes, bobcats, raccoons, coyotes, and weasels pose significant threats to their survival. These skilled hunters target bunnies for food, contributing to regulating rabbit populations. Outdoor housepets can be enemies, too, particularly dogs and cats. And loud little humans playing in your yard make great rabbit deterrents, too.

There's anecdotal evidence that apple cider vinegar does help to repel mice. But the best way to repel mice is to keep your home scrupulously clean and seal up any obvious entry points. If you already have a mouse infestation, apple cider vinegar won’t get rid of the critters. It’s usually worth the cost of professional pest control to make sure a serious mouse problem is eradicated completely.
