"I signed a contract with Midas Lighting in December 2021 for holiday lighting at my house. At the time, I was not informed that it was a 5-year contract. I requested to cancel the service this year, 2025, but they are threatening to charge me 50% of the contract, which is $1,013 The contract clearly states a duration of 3 to 5 years, and I have already completed 3 years. I believe I have the right to cancel the contract since I no longer need their services. I do not recommend this company due to their misleading terms and aggressive collection attempts. "

"Zero stars if it were possible. Harry M came to my home and quoted me 200 dollars and cash was the only payment option he would accept. He came that Saturday and did a horrible job. He used my mower and it’s not working properly now. He didn’t have a working weed wacker and asked for my personal one. He left so many areas undone and I he did report he would come back to finish the job. This never happened; he kept saying he had me scheduled but forgot to tell me. A crew was supposed to come two Saturdays ago and this never happened. He does not respond to text messages. Most importantly, he asked to come to my house to BBQ and to date me. I have text messages to prove this. Even after I declined, he didn’t not understand no after being told several times. There’s a review on another site that doesn’t remove negative feedback and he called that person cursing them out and verbally threatening them. If he does this to me, I will immediately press charges. I’m reporting this fraud anywhere I can until I get my money back from this fraud."

"Called Jeff on a Monday late morning. First impression was good as he answered the phone. I explained the problem. I was flexible with timing as the issue has been going on for a while. He said he could come that Weds based on my schedule at 8am. He was there on time and got right to work. Found some shoddy things, tightened some stuff and that did the trick. He also of course was looking at the main panel and pointed out some water issues damaging panel....not good! Glad he came and saw this. I sort of suspected but he found the cause of that too. So that will likely be a separate project in near future. As for the dead circuit...after 30-45 mins of hard work by Jeff and Kevin, we were almost at a loss but Jeff was determined. Homeowner error...shame on me...this dedicated circuit has a dedicated switch. Have (or had) it taped for years. Someone knocked it and that was the cause. All in took a couple of hours but an hour could have been prevented if I had not goofed. Oops. Anyways, I highly recommend Jeff and JMP!"
