Our goal is not only bringing out the natural beauty of your landscape and keeping it maintained but also specializing in customer service and satisfaction. We listen to all your concerns, problems, needs and expectations. Scapes, Inc. is not happy unless our customer is happy. You are the key to our success. I have been involved with landscaping and lawn maintenance since childhood. I grew up working on my parents two acre estate and maintaining local neighbors estates in the area. As I grew older, my interest in landscaping and lawn maintenance turned into a professional landscaping company. In 2005 Scapes, Inc. was founded by myself Jason von-Purkyne. Scapes, Inc. has been in business working from Port St. Lucie ,Florida all the way south to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and growing. There is no job to small. I enjoy meeting my customers and bringing there dreams to reality. I look forward to meeting you!

Jason was responsive at first, but ultimately I ended up spending thousands with him and have a dead lawn now. He has totally stopped responding after promising to work to get my lawn back.

Used their 8 hours of labor for $199 deal. Well worth it. I simply contacted them to set up the appointment and they came, discussed what I wanted and got to work. They worked in the rain, and went above and beyond to clean up afterwards. Very friendly and professional crew. Would recommend.

They came out relatively quick after I purchased the Big Deal. It only took about a week for them to come out after the purchase. They were very responsive.

In the two years they tended my property, they skipped the mowing--the first time was due to an 'equipment problem'. The second time went for six weeks, with no explanation, and my house stood out with weeds a foot high. They didn't reply to my email or phone call. In desperation, I called one more time, and was choked up as I told them I had to bring in another landscaper if they weren't coming that week;. I waited, they didn't come, and I got a new company at $20 a month cheaper. I thought it was strange, since I tipped them for holidays, but when I read other Angie's List reviewers, I see other members reported the same problem!

Once again He arrived right on time as promised. He had to climb inside my very large mango tree with a chainsaw. He safely, and properly removed 1/3 of its height to make it more manageable for me to harvest. he cleaned up all the debris and left nothing behind. He also trimmed around all of my trees and bushes on the property where the grass was well over one foot tall and in some areas over two feet tall. I couldn't believe how fast that he performed these services and how professional he worked. My yard is now back to its normal state and looks like it was never as out of control as it was. Another excellent job performed by Scapes. I look forward to working with again soon in the near future.

Jason Arrived on time as promised. He went above and beyond my expectations. I couldn't have asked for a better job well done. Excellent work! Everything was covered in mold, grass and dirt. When Jason was finished everything looked brand new again. Before he left he made sure that everything was washed off and cleaned up. I will definitely hire again!

The very large gumbo limbo tree, with a trunk diameter of 48", had several large limbs ominously spreading above our roof. Scapes used a mobile cherry picker with extraordinary skill. In order to achieve the goal of removing limbs, each 20' or so long, Jason had to remove small pieces from the end of each limb, incrementally working his way back to the main trunk, and doing that in a way to prevent the just-cut piece from falling on the roof.

Possible, recent changes at Angie's List contributed to the delay. In the past I would hear from the vendor after suggesting a few dates that worked for me. After those dates had passed, I called Jason at Scapes, and we did set a date. Life happens, and it took several reschedules to get it done. Along the way he was very apologetic. He did a really good job, with an assistant, they got it all done in the 2 hours. (2X2=4 hours). I will have Jason return in the fall to add some color and work on a plan for the area where the Snake Plants were. He does care about getting the job right - to the customer's satisfaction. I did contact Angie's List at one point, and they are very responsive to get everything done right. It turned out there was not a need after all for further intervention - but it is nice to know that they are there.

Jason is a gentleman and a very knowledgeable landscape designer and arborist. He is a man of his word, punctual and very thorough....down to picking up the last leaf. It is a pleasure to work with him and I would highly recommend him.

Not particularly wonderful to be honest with you. I tried to resolve the issue with the young man myself regarding a broken board on the fence that he denied that, I mean I know that he cracked it, and the other thing to is I was promised an hour landscaping design consultation and that never happened at all. He just didn't understand what I was talking about.

"See main picture above! I can't believe this one! My helper and I worked very hard cleaning up years of un-maintained trees and planting beds. We were there right on time as promised and on the exact day as promised. When we were finished she was so pleased with our work that she even called over her neighbors to show them the great job accomplished.. I texted her a few days later thanking her for her kindness and purchase. She replied very upset and rude blaming me that I broke her fence. I said, "well give me a chance to come out and prove different or I will gladly repair it". She said ok! I came out and the break in the fence had black paint inside the break proving that it was already broken months ago when she had her fence painted.. She didn't care still accusing me of breaking it and giving her the money to repair it. It was clearly evident that it was not from us and that it was old and previously broken otherwise I would have had it repaired..! She left this review above. I guess it could have been an "F" I'll take the "C" knowing that anyone can say anything on here whether true or not :("

Jason used a very tall ladder and chainsaw to trim the palm trees. They are now beautiful and balanced. His assistant trimmed the other palm bushes in the yard and now they no longer interfere with parking in the driveway. They hauled all of the debris away and raked the area. They did such a great job, we asked him to come back to replace the dead bushes in the front yard. He recommended a couple of bushes and pointed them out in our neighbors' yards. He provided us prices for smaller potted bush and the larger potted bush. With all of this information we were easily able to make a decision. He came back a couple days later to remove the old bushes and install the new ones. He was on-time for both visits and called us before he showed up. The prices were very reasonable and his work was excellent based on previous work that we have had done.

The owner, Jason VonPurkyne is very passionate about his craft. He arrived as scheduled with one of his workers. The task required renting a 300 pound grinder for some of the landscaping tasks. They worked non stop for four hours, only stopping for a short period for a something to eat.
Jason is very accommodating and takes the time to ensure you are very satisfied. He will gladly provide you with clear concise explanations of what is being done. He truly understands that you are the customer and that his results must meet your standards. He goes beyond anyone we ever worked with. He will welcome you to follow up with him on any concerns you have.
As I stated earlier, passion is something few people can demonstrate, Jason does this very well. It is the best investment we made by hiring him and will do so in the future.

I found Scapes, Inc. on Angie's list and was pleased with how they completed the first job. I hired them again to rip out old shrubs and install new ones and a tree in the backyard. Jason was very communicative. He and his assistant did another great job for us. They are hardworking, honest, professional, tidy and responsive. I definitely plan to continue to use Scapes Inc and I would enthusiastically recommend them.
