"I prep the room first before they started painting, i.e caulk holes in the wall and windows and sanded. I would have wished them to prep another room; i e re-enforce nails in sheet rock and caulk at least but they did not get to that part although they said they would at least put nails on sheet rock as existing nails were popping out. But they did a good and clean job in painting without any mess.

"John was responsive, professional and fair, even when surprises came up with our old 1960’s house (bad pipes, rotted subfloor) and fixing shoddy work from a prior contractor. His site super Ronan did great work and creative problem solver. I realize how difficult it is for a contractor to commit to a such a small but complex scope that included all trades. Difficult work in a small space, it turned out beautifully! He was professional — when he couldn’t stick to the schedule and needed prodding to complete punchlist he didn’t charge us for the balance. Malik's crew showed up promptly each morning, and under the supervision of Malik or his equally capable foreman ("Mr. Z"), every detail of this work was performed in a skilled, highly competent and precise manner. Once begun (except for rain days), the job was continued through completion. Worth noting also is the fact that, although he was aware of my budget limitations, Malik was able to deliver a first-class job which the quality of the finished product reflects.
