"Exactly as expected. Gregory repaired both siding and gutter. After a heavy rain, the gutter repair has solved the problem. The trim repair matches well (white). This was a small job and I was pleased to have Gregory work it into his schedule. Both repairs required a 40' ladder as they were about 2 1/2 to 3 stories up. Given the work required and the height, I thought it was a fair price."

"I needed a lot of help. Needless to say I was lucky to find Kip from Millenium on Angie's List. I really needed estimates on a variety of services, anything from insulation to a quote on a bathroom upgrade to replacing my front door! Kip arrived on time, as scheduled and was so very knowledgeable and helpful. I initially called to get a quote on a bathroom remodel, and after reviewing specs and ideas, we ended up talking about my airflow and how the AC seemed to be uneven from floor to floor. Kip took a look at each floor and provided some DIY tips that would improve airflow. I was so relieved that I finally found an honest contractor. I've waited a while to provide a review to see how efficient his suggestions were, and they worked! With Kip's help and a little of my time, I've improved my air flow tremendously, and saved so much money in the process. "They were great! Their carefulness and consideration for our house really impressed me. They put down dropcloths on the carpet and vacuumed before they left every day. It was really a pleasant experience. They never made us feel we were in their way. We are a homeschooling family so my sons (age 8 and 10) were constantly around asking questions and they talked to them like intelligent people and my kids just loved them.
The quality of the work was all we could have asked for. We gave them a really difficult painting job (semigloss paint) and it looks great. They carefully followed all our directions and double checked with us, as well as telling us when one of our creative ideas was problematic. They had good suggestions and design ideas. Communication was excellent all around. They constantly let us know what to expect, worked with us on what came up unexpectedly in the course of the project, and answered all our questions. They were very responsive to changes we needed to make in the middle. When we needed to leave early, they would arrive early.
They completed the job at the cost of their estimate (modified slightly to reflect changes we made) and in a reasonable time (but longer than their original stated timeframe). They encouraged us to use the bathroom for a few days and call them with any issues we had. There were a couple of minor things, which they promptly came over to fix when we called. They didn't ask for final payment until those were resolved. They did quality work and we recommend them highly.

"It was kind of mixed so I ended up doing something more expensive. The bathroom ended up okay but definitely required like a lot of oversight on my part. They were having problems with their project manager who is fired midway through the job and they did a few things wrong like install the plumbing in the wrong spot and it was until I pointed it out that they had to repair the work and do it again. There was some other problems in terms of like they're not being super detail-oriented but it wasn't like a horrible experience. I paid more, I paid at least another $5000 on top of that. I wouldn't recommend them. Their price is pretty comparable to other quotes. It ultimately ended up okay but the two problems were, first they installed the plumbing for the tub like in the wrong location and they had to like redo it and move it to the right location only after I pointed it out. I also had all of the fixtures there for them but they drilled the holes for the drain and the sink in a wrong spot and it meant that they had to like put in an extender so I lost a bunch of room under the sink because of that. The sink is functional but it's like not aesthetically pleasing because they did it on the wrong spot and then they also used a subcontractor for the plumbing. They had their own people do the general work, the painting and stuff like that but they were working with someone else for the plumbing, I had them have the key and he left the lock box like set to the accommodations so that anyone could have taken my key out and got into my house. There's nothing bad ultimately happened, I just think it was like careless. The tile work on the floor is okay but not great because it's a little bit uneven. I felt like I had to really actively manage the project and have to check everyday to make sure things are being done correctly and I pointed out when they were problems. They brought in a new project manager like halfway through and he was a bit better."
