 + 0 moreGreat! Jon was prompt, thorough, professional and clean. In addition to the tile work and plumbing installation, Jon also identified and corrected some structural errors made when the original shower was installed 60 years ago. We would certainly use Pioneer Builders again.
Description of Work: Project was to install a tile replacement shower stall, made more challenging by the space involved (tucked under the sloping ceiling on the second floor of a Cape Cod style home.)

 + 0 moreWe have a very large atrium foyer/formal lounge area which is open to the dining and family room. Jon designed and installed custom built wainscoting, fireplace surround, crown molding. He also built a column and half wall between the formal area and dining room area of the open plan space. Made from solid wood with all carpentry and painting performed on site with their usual efficiency and cleanliness. Jon/Pioneer Builders are our go to contractor who has been extensively involved in the remodeling of our new home. This the fourth project they have completed with the usual meticulous attention to detail and good value. Our neighbors, upon seeing Jon's, work have hired his services too.
Description of Work: Design and install wainscoting, fireplace surround and crown molding.

 + -1 moreI actually had my bathroom completed by another contractor who did not waterproof properly which caused leaking and a nightmare. Jon came in and ripped out the tile and did proper waterproofing on my shower. We now have a good working and beautiful shower. He is professional, his work is excellent and priced competive. I would highly recommend him. I joined Angies list because of the horrible experience I had with a prior contractor. I would highly recommend Jon and will be having him to come back and finish my other bathrooms.

 + 0 moreAll aspects of the work were completed on time and within the 5 week estimate. Weeks 1 and 2 included demolition and removal of old cabinets, flooring and appliances, cleanly and efficiently, followed by plumbing and electrical installations and repair to existing walls prior to fitting of cabinets. Weeks 3 and 4 included fitting of all flooring, cabinets, trim work, supervision of appliance installation and measurement for granite countertops. Week 5 included fitting countertops, backsplash, painting, lighting and remaining trim. The work was executed efficiently with meticulous attention to detail and clean up after each day. 100% satisfied with the services provided by Pionerr and will use again.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodel. Fitting/customizing of all cabinetry, flooring, tiling, plumbing and electrical work. Total cost of project including cabinets, granite countertop, flooring, tile backsplash, lighting/electrical, plumbing and Jennair appliances was $42,000.

 + 2 moreOn time and on budget. After two successful contracts, Pioneer is our go to contractor for any home remodeling project from now on.
Description of Work: Design and re-built butt out on garden room to install picture window and refinish interior. Pioneer removed the old garden window (shown), redesigned and re-framed the butt out with a new roof section tied into our existing roof. This was to accommodate the new picture window and finished interior as shown. Work was planned and scheduled such that framing and installation of new window was completed in one day so that house remained weatherproof and not exposed to elements. Finished job was excellent and addition looks like it was always part of the house.

Any modifications we wanted were seamlessly incorporated with an honest estimate of the additional cost and time so that we could make an informative decision. Finished job came in on budget and on time with excellent results. We have a stunning master bathroom and have booked Pioneer for hall bath and powder room remodel.
Description of Work: Full design, demo and remodel including a stunning glass block walled walk in shower. Work was completed on time and to a meticulous standard with the work site left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Jon took our concept and developed it into a great design that exceeded our expectations, using computer aided design tools to give us a show room quality bathroom. Add in the exceptional price, which was considerably less than similar quotes from companies with higher overheads, and the decision was a no brainer. Pioneer came recommended from various sources and we're glad we chose them. Jon provides a great design service, quality work and a great price. Don't even think about doing a bathroom without calling Pioneer.
