"Fast, responsive, and left us very satisfied. Lynn was extremely helpful and explained the whole process. Sean was wonderful to work with and also extremely patient. He explained everything (sometimes twice) so we could understand. They were honest, up front, and were able to fix the flue liner and install flashing same day (yes, I learned new words today!). Everything they installed in under warranty with a service guarantee. We will definitely be using them for future chimney cleaning. Loved the inspection report with the pictures as well! Big plus!"

"AAA Chimney was excellent. Owner inspected chimney, diagnosed problem, and gave me a quote. I agreed and a date for resealing and installation of a chimney cap was set. Workers showed up on schedule and completed the work in approximately three and a half hours. Professionally done--stainless steel resealing, new piping from furnace and hot water heater to meet code, and steel cap."

"The service was fine. The only thing is that they were really late coming. So, it was like dark when they got out of here. They left the area good when they were finished. It took them an hour-and-a-half to complete the job. They sent me a picture of the chimney. The price was great. They did show up."

"They were very hard working, efficient, and thorough and i would highly recommend Nick, and his faithful crew of workers including Sean, and Chris. They were careful to not make a mess and to clean up the work areas, and they made sure they tested everything. They obtained permits for us for the extra back den stove and chimney pipe. I would highly recommend this company for fireplace, stove and chimney work!"

"We highly recommend Quality Pro Construction for siding, roofing, gutters, and masonry. The crew worked quickly with great attention to detail and a high level of expertise. We were very impressed with their punctuality and their neatness in cleaning up the worksite at the end of each workday. Sergio responded the same day as our request for an estimate. After we agreed on the price, he returned the next business day with a full crew. They beautifully repaired our 90-year-old craftsman style home following extensive water damage to the front porch. The damage extended to the roof, soffits and fascia. The crew found white mold and rotted wood above the siding on the porch ceiling, and a sunken area in the roof above the porch. They removed the old siding from the ceiling as well as all of the rotted wood. They then removed the roof of the porch which extends the width of the front of the house. After they expertly matched the shingles to the rest of the house, they installed a new roof. After allowing the porch ceiling to dry out overnight, they reinforced the entire area with 2 x 4’s, added insulation, and installed a brand new vinyl ceiling. They also power washed the post at the corner of the porch and neatly caulked all of the seams. They also replaced the fascia, soffits, gutters and downspouts on the front of the house as well as a gutter on the side of the house. We could not a be more pleased with the results! Not only did they resolve our structural issues in only two days, but they also pointed the bricks on the front steps. Our home is now refreshed, safe, and looking its best. Meticulous craftsmanship, a hard-working crew, fair pricing, fast service, and trust worthy. Call Quality Pro Construction, they really are exceptional!"

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Most residential range hoods have a CFM between 200 and 600. A higher CFM means your range hood is better at removing smoke and odors from your kitchen. The measurement ultimately depends on your stove’s width and heat output as well as the size of your kitchen.

Compared to the average size of a stove and kitchen, 350 CFM would be the minimum recommended rating for the average kitchen. However, selecting a higher CFM range hood would guarantee better ventilation to match your cooking habits, whether they’re minimal or extensive.

Regular cleaning of filters and checking ducting ensures effective operation.

A higher CFM will make the price of your range hood more expensive. It can be challenging to speculate how much the CFM rating affects price, but ductless range hoods—that don’t need as high of a CFM as ducted range hoods—are less expensive than their alternative. On average, ductless hoods cost between $100 and $300, while ducted hoods can cost as much as $1,000.

A range hood is an exhaust fan for your kitchen, and several types and styles exist. They are meant to remove grease, moisture, and fumes from your stove. Although some models filter and recirculate the air, the most effective ones remove the air through a duct that’s vented to the outdoors.

Neglected maintenance can lead to odors, fire hazards, impaired airflow, and reduced range and hood operation efficiency.
