"When our 100 year old sewer line backed up this week we called Daniel in to resolve the issue and he succeeded to break the clog in about an hour where Roto-rooter had failed the day before. Then he went the extra mile and fished out some odds and ends that were in the trap left behind by other plumbers. We were impressed and would recommend. No nonsense, professional, reasonable. Five stars.."

"Jimmy was amazing. My boyfriend and I were in a serious bind when water started leaking into our kitchen from the bathroom upstairs after we just moved in. I called a handful of other plumbers who wanted to charge us an estimate to come, wanted me to send pictures for an estimate or quoted an exorbitant amount without a clear plan due to the complexity of our issue. I was starting to get really worried until I called Titan. Jimmy was professional, personable and fairly priced. He came that night and determined a plan for a permanent fix. The next day he rerouted all the pipes and corrected the issue in no time. We are so grateful we found him!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Phil (& his helper) were very professional, reliable, trust-worthy, & more than fair regarding price! He kept in touch if he was delayed. He had multiple issues to keep him busy here... dealing with a leaking sink faucet hose here (& eventually installing a new faucet when Kohler's replacement hose would not fit a DISCONTINUED faucet, adjust water temperature in my guest bath shower & reinstalling the shower faucet, & checking my master bath toilet's fill valve. Sure, YouTube videos are helpful *but they can NOT substitute for a plumber! Also, 20% Senior Citizen discount!"

"First time homebuyer here. Jacob was prompt, thorough and pleasant. He showed us the current condition of our sewer line via two separate videos. Incredibly easy to work with - will recommend Jacob to family/friends."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

According to the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), the distance between your trap and the vent should be no more than 6 feet. For your vent to work properly, it needs to feed into the drain line within 6 feet of trapways that connect to it. Using this formula, you should be able to determine whether you will need multiple vent lines.

If a toilet is not properly vented, you could experience issues like poor drainage, slow flushing, frequent clogs, malfunctioning traps, gurgling noises, and the release of sewer gasses. If left untreated, all of these issues could lead to longer term structural damage or (in the case of sewer gasses) harmful health side effects.

The amount of water wasted when a toilet ghost flushes depends on the cause of the ghost flushing. Leaky flapper valves tend to waste less water than a larger problem like a damaged flush valve that makes the toilet run constantly. Even if you don’t think you’re wasting a lot of water, it’s still a problem that should be fixed quickly.

If you need to repair part of your plumbing, it will cost an average of $330. The cost of plumbing repairs is influenced by several factors, including the type of drain and the specific repair needed.

Yes, and no. Your shower, toilet, and sink all connect to the same main drain, but the secondary drains going from each fixture to the main drain are usually separate. This isn’t always the case—especially in older homes—but since toilets contain black water and showers, tubs, and sinks have grey water, toilets are more regulated and come at a greater risk of contamination. It’s best to keep these drains separate using individual waste collection for this reason.
